Long wearing, comfortable, good traction, good for occasional running and other sports
I have worn this model of New Balance shoes for many years. When they wear out, I just buy a new pair. I recently replaced my shoes because my feet had gotten larger with aging and I needed a larger pair. The didn't have the size that I wanted at the local sporting store so I tried a different brand. That didn't work out. The most important reason was that the outside part of the sole hit before the heel area. That through off my balance.I decided to buy my new shoes on Amazon if the still carried that model. They not only did but they had a choice of colors. I had always gotten the ones with orange trim before, I went with the greenish trim this time. The shoes were exactly the same as the ones I have worn over the years except that they were a half size larger. I came them four stars, based mostly on the fact I didn't know how they compare with other similar brands. For me, they have been five stars. Very long wearing, very comfortable, good traction on slippery trains, nice looking, reasonably light for occasional running and for occasional use with court sports.

Goody Goody Two Shoes!
This is a nice set of shoes. I purchased them and was amazed how fast they arrived. I was even more amazed that their were two shoes in the box. I thought you only received one shoe but no you get two. Also the beautiful box that the shoes were packaged in they put both shoes in one box. I say to myself what will they think of next. The quality of the shoes were really good and were a good fit right out of box they came in. I must say that if you need a fine set of shoes these will fit the bill. All in all this was a great experience shopping at my local Amazon shoe store where they apparently have a buy one shoe and get one shoe free deal going on. One other nice thing about these shoes is that they came with laces and get this the laces were already put on the shoes talk about a time saver. In conclusion I would walk briskly to my nearby Amazon shoe store and give these New Balance shoes a try.
