VervacoCounted Cross Stitch Kit, 6,8 x 10 inch, Hand in Hand

I previously completed the picture of the dad, mom and baby’s hand by this same company, as a baby shower gift. This will be a gift as well. I am sure the quality is as good as their other products.

The pattern is large and easy to read! The project is really beautiful.

Used for wedding gift

I chose this kit because of the attention to detail it displayed in the picture. I was amazed at the detail. It is so artistic, yet lifelike. The colors of thread are the perfect shades to define the hands. You will not be disappointed. The company that supplied the kit are wonderful to work with. I recommend both the kit and seller.

I like that the pattern is large making it easy to read although the magnetic stand I have for it is too small so I'll have to figure out another method of keeping my place. It came with the threads presorted on a card for easy identification using the chart on the pattern; my only wish is that they had listed the DMC equivalent in case I want to make it again using my own threads. The needle was included as well.

Absolutely loved the finished product. Bring your patience. You are dealing with eight shades of brown but the effort is well worth it. Directions spot on and diagram is huge. Happy stitching!

This project was a challenge but worth every stitch (all 10,025 of them) and every hour (a whopping 125)! It is stunning in its detail and the perfect gift to complete for a newly married couple.It's not for the faint of heart or poor of eyesight though. The stitches are small (18 per inch) and there are only eight thread colors and the subtleties between shades can be maddeningly difficult to discern unless you have a good work light.I find using a handheld scroll frame for the project worked best. It gave me the most freedom to travel the canvas and none of the hassle of hoop indentations.

I really enjoyed how the details came out as sewed away, and the bride & groom loved it!

Not easy to work but beautiful result. I will give it to my newly engaged grandson
