Betty Crocker's Best of Baking Cookbook

This is a great cookbook, especially for beginners. There are a lot of basic recipes you can learn off of and become a better baker. There are several sections to the book, even a section for kids. The recipes are great. There is a section for dinner foods and we found several favorite dinners in there. I have bought about 5 of these cookbooks for other people and they love it, too. The only con, it's a hard bound book that doesn't like to stay open. I just use a brick to hold it open if I need it open. Not really a big deal to me, though.

This is an excellant baking book for both experienced & beginning cooks. Has a good assortment of baking recipes & love using this book. I use it often & have never had any trouble with any of the recipes. The beginning cook should use common sense when baking & cooking with any cookbook full of recipes. The schools should re-instate home ec classes so these new cooks & bakers have some sort of basic knowledge before they try to use a cookbook. Anyway this is an excellant baking book, use it in good health & enjoy the recipes.

I am pleased with this cookbook. Recipes are very good and there are many variations of recipes also.

Recipes directions subdivided for all cooks; child to master chef. Food that you actually eat not leaving you to wonder, "what IS this" when reading the food descriptions. Their is a set aside cooking section for "cooking with children" and very easy directions with words to what you will expect at each level as you make each dish. For those that don't want to have to call on "Aunt Martha" at odd times of the night to ask her how to do something and for those who want your mother to be proud and a little envious of your cooking. A good american cook book. Recipes made for the way you eat.

I love it

I like to experiment with new recipes not just in baking but also in cooking and this book is just what i needed. I sit and read it like a novel. It helps you learn measurement and tells you exactly what ingredients and kitchen tools you need for that particular recipe. GREAT BOOK

I received this beautiful book one week ago, it's wonderful, full of photos and mouth-watering recipes.I own other BC's cookbooks and this one is perfect too !!!Once again Betty Crocker is the best !!!!
