A $74 canvas paperweight
I’m probably more disappointed with my 3 star rating than Boyt will be. I bought my first Boyt gun case - oh man, probably 30+ years ago and absolutely love (still love) that case. Any new gun was always paired with a Boyt soft case - including my new o/u. Upon receiving it, I looked the case over and everything appeared to be of expected quality - but foolishly removed the tags after inspection. It wasn’t until I tried to slip my o/u into the case that all went down hill quickly. The space for where the barrel is to go - is fitted so tight - I needed to wiggle the gun in order to get the gun to fit. I repeated multiple time and eventually concluded that the tearing the inner fabric was “when”, not “if”. Needless to say, I now have a case that is pretty much useless for me.

I got this for my Browning Citori 12 gauge, and it fits great. The case looks good as well.

Best Boyt Case for O/U shotgun
I have several traditional Boyt shotgun cases, but I like this one better for several reasons: 1) the zipper is on the top, that is the handle side. The other models with the zipper on the bottom, carry the shotgun rib against the case crease, which would be fine except the Bradley style front sights on my guns rip the flannel fabric. This case carries the rib towards the zipper. 2) The zipper is nylon instead of brass and is less likely to scratch. 3) The case is just the right size to fit an over and under with 32 inch barrels and reasonable length extended chokes

High Quality
This is an excellent quality and I am rather happy with this product. That said, they shipped it in an enormous flat box for like a 44" television wasting a lot of cardboard and the mailman's time. Not cool, Amazon. Not cool.
