Crystal Nail File

I read about this OPI crystal nail file in a beauty article I receive in my email. It was rated as the top nail file to use. I was happy to find it on Amazon. This is truly a gem to have. It takes very little effort when filing my nails with it. The end result is the smoothest nails I’ve ever experienced & with very little effort. It comes in a its own container specifically designed to hold it. Since this is crystal based I would suggest filing delicately when using. For me filing my nails is part of my self care so I take my time. I could foresee it easily breaking if used with force or dropping it. This is truly a 5 star & beyond nail filer with longevity & well worth the cost. I highly recommend it!

I have had thin, peeling nails for years. They would start to grow out and as soon as they got any length to them they would peel apart and I'd be back to square one. Then because they had already peeled, they would grow out very thin and would be flexible and useless. Don't recall how I came across the idea of the crystal nail file but once I found it, it seemed like it couldn't hurt to try as it would be a cheaper easier solution to the problem then buying all sorts of nail supplements or polishes, etc. My nail file showed up about a month ago and I got to using it right away. Holy moly this thing is great! Not a single nail has peeled since I've been using it and since I've been diligent about keeping my nails moisturized and buffed these past few weeks the results are amazing. My nails are smooth and longer than they've ever been without polish. This is a great nail file for anyone wanting to go all natural with their nailcare. Add a cuticle cream and a two sided nail buffer to this and your nails are all set! Oh, and yeah - it's glass, so of course it's going to break if you drop it, just like any other thing made out of glass. So just be careful. It's worth it.

Love this file I received it originally in a set from HSN and carried it everywhere just in case. One day I accidentally forget it at my moms house after giving her a pedicure. Well you know I was disappointed so the first person that went to visit her I told them to retrieve it and bring it back pronto. This happened to be my husband son and sons girlfriend. Now being the only girl in the crew they told my sons gf to put it in her bag for safe keeping. Somehow when they got back my house it was broken into three pieces I was so mad and devastated (yes I know it's a nail file but I really loved it ) she was also sad bc hey she just broke her boyfriends moms favorite new item. Not wanting her to feel to bad and wanting a replacement I hopped onto Amazon and there it was!!! I ordered two one for home and one for my bag. My daughter has since borrowed the one I keep at home and haven't given it back because she likes it ( she's 12) I now have to order more but this time I'm ordering the 4pk so I can give one to my mom my sis my sons girlfriend and keep one for my mani set I have at home. So bottom line this is an awesome file that's worth the price because I tried other crystal files that didn't do nearly a 1/4 of what this one does. It's not to hard and gets the corners and all. A def must have

This file does a great job and was just what I was looking for.

File is ok. Cost is not worth it. My local store stopped selling them. But somehow my first order with Amazon got auto reorder every 90 days. I changed it on their site when they sent the first one. But just got an email saying they are not available on a new reorder. I canceled the order, but can't find option to change. As if it would work. Please get it stopped or email me directions.

I'm a guitarist, so my nails on my picking hand need to be in good condition, and this nail file does the job way better than any previous file I've used. I feel like I have had fewer issues with broken nails since using this regularly. Also it just feels nice. Would highly recommend.

I went from a fancy boutique brand glass file to this one - "downgraded" reluctantly after my old one broke. This one, although 3x less expensive, works fantastically and there's no difference in quality. I've also previously tried a cheapo glass file (came in a set of 5 for half the price of this one...) and it was awful... I'd say this OPI file is just right. No need to spend more, and don't dare spend much less. These last forever and are so efficient. It also comes packaged in a little hard plastic case which protects it, especially during travel (my last one came in a thin flexible plastic sleeve which only protected from dirt!). On glass files: Many people do not like glass files because at the wrong angle, it can feel like nails on chalkboard. I never have that issue and it always feels pretty smooth for me... I do still use cardboard style emery boards in my nail work often but I prefer crystal/glass files for daily use and especially for touch-ups, because they are more fine and smooth. (And another note... metal files are never okay)

This crystal nail file is so much more gentle and easier to use than a standard Emory board. I also surprisingly like the plastic tube it came in to store it. I had a different brand that came with a nice holder but the top kept coming off and I can’t tell you how many of them I broke that way. Opi makes a nice one

I had been using the same glass nail file for years and wanted to replace it because the top of it was broken. This file is really excellent and better than then one I had before! Great quality and I like the packaging which I’ve kept to store it when not in use. My previous file had a little black velvet pouch; this one doesn’t which is a shame. But overall super happy!

This is one of the best nail files I have ever used. I don’t like cutting my nails and they are brittle and tend to break a lot. The file makes it easy to make the nails short...without any breakage...it takes less time to file nails then the usual files available. The price is on the higher side but it does the work perfectly.
