Great for cutting fabric
I couldn’t find this blade at my local craft stores so was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I use this blade to cut fabric and it works really well. Still trying to figure out the perfect pressure since it does leave an imprint of my cutouts on the mat, but not a huge deal since it doesn’t change the mats stickiness.

Good but randomly changes depth
i bought the rotary blade for cameo 4. I always use the same material and never need to change the setting- always keep it on a 3. For this reason I always preferred the rotary blade over the auto blade or the premium blade (which changed as well). The old rotary blade worked great- no worries about the "auto" part changing my cut setting. This new one for the 4 does not work as wekk. It does not click into place- you just turn the dial. It starts off cutting great, but a week or so later the setting moves to a 4 (too deep) or a 2 (not deep enough). Of course, it's not noticed till the vinyl is wasted. The old rotary blades are hard to find and these new rotary blades are no better than the autoblade. I have tried multiple ones- and all move the setting after a few days of use. The only workaround is a dab of glue to hold it in place. BUT- now if it needs to be changed to a fifferent depth, it can't. Silhouette, why change something that worked great (the OLD rotary blade). We already had an autoblade that randomly changes settings- why mess up the rotary blade too? I wouldn't mind paying more for the "4" blade if it actually worked as well as the one it is replacing- it does not. It is ok. But if I can find the old ones to use with the adaptor, I will!

Perfect for Fabric
I bought this to cut felt on my Silhouette and it works like a dream! Make sure to adjust your settings in the software though, the felt setting that is programmed in there is WAY too high according to silhouette customer support. Fortunately they were able to walk me through adjusting and now the blade works beautifully.
