two piece unit, hollow handle
2 piece unit. Lower polymer piece unscrews from handle. Inside is obviously not as well finished as outside, signs of rust and smells moldy. I wrapped the entire threaded portion with teflon tape to seal out moisture returning into the handle portion. Silicone caulk would work too.

This thing is great!I thought surely this would be unnecessary since you can mash fruits, etc in drinks in different ways but the shape and tread on the bottom really make it easy.It's a bit longer than my hand, smooth design, easy to clean.

Generic with no logos.
This muddler has changed. The muddler I received has no logos on it. I returned it. Just a generic muddler.

If I had a muddler...wait I do and it's the best
One of the best muddlers I've had my hands on. Great for an old fashioned or mint julep; in particular it doesn't obliterate the mint, which is something I prefer. Works well and fairly easy to clean up between drinks, except drinks with fresh berries as some of those seeds stick in the grooves.
