I just received my LED Handheld Magnifier! I love it! The batteries were easy to install. The light is so bright and along with the magnification the small print easy to read. The light also has multiple settings making the brightness adjustable which is helpful depending on room light and the surface of the material you are reading.I also appreciate the protective pouch which helps to keep it dust free and clean. I use mine a lot in the kitchen to read recipes and ingredients. The pouch can also be used to wipe the lense. The material and information you receive from the manufacturer is well presented, professional and clear.I definitely recommend this product.

My 40-year-old magnifying glass finally gave up the ghost so I had to replace it. Round magnifiers don't really fit my needs so I have remained with the rectangular variety. This magnifier is excellent! It fulfills all my needs. Not only does it magnify larger than my old one, it has lights! Three different light spectrums (spectra?) offer good lighting for differing circumstances. The real winner here, however, in my opinion, is the vendor; the user's manual is very explicit and the meticulous attention to detail -- maintenance tips, use of lights, warranty information, customer service information -- is so professional. The cover keeps the lens clean as well. I would trust any item this vendor has to offer.

PROs: light weight, rechargeable battery, good magnification, nice light and dimmer.CON: the button (on the rechargeable model) is not in a great place. I hold it with my right hand and regularly hit the button accidentally.All in all, a good purchase.

very nice magnifier. Size is large. Glass is clear. The three lights work well. Comfortable in hand. Just wish you could charge it.

Improved design from wheel dimmer white-light only magnifier that is easily drained of power by forgetting to turn the wheel to complete off position. Different light shade settings definitely improves viewing experience in different light conditions. Four clicks control thru color options cycle to full off position lessens chance of inadvertent battery drain compared to dimmer wheel model.

Be sure you are using matching fresh batteries. The light wasn't staying on and was very dim. We changed the batteries and it works great now! Very bright for my mom who has macular degeneration . Also the magnifying area is nice and large. She really likes it. The only thing is, she is 90 and frail, so it is a bit heavy for her; but she can support it fine with 2 hands. It is very useful with the 3 different types of light and the ability to dim or brighten. Material seems to be high quality and sturdy.

The item is bright and easy to use, however I purcchased this to take with me in my purse. The light goes on all the time and it is VERY bothersome and unwanted. The switch should be harder to press or protected so shifting purse contents don't turn it on. It is also a tad too tall as well for putting in purse.
