Autmotive Authority 3D Black Carbon Fiber Film Twill Weave Vinyl Sheet Roll Wrap - 60" x 120"

I don't really have anything to compare this product with because this was my first time ever trying wraps or decals. The first try was rough due to the learning curve. I simply peeled it off and these pics are of my second attempt with a slightly different approach.I've read some of these reviews and it sounds more like irritation due to lack of skill and less like a flawed product. Let me offer a few tips..It's waterproof and the backing absorbs water. Dampen it. Heat gun shrinks inside corners and stretches outside corners, so feather it with the heat gun while it is hovering.. not after it's stuck down. It is somewhat thin.. so don't stretch it as hard as you can with a fingertip or pull really hard while blowing a heat gun on it.I doubt professionals would do it quite the same, but I did wet it first. It is exactly like tinting a window, but harder. It is not the easiest project to do at all. It takes more than looking at a few pics and deciding you want it. You still have to do it, and it takes the right touch.I give 4 stars, rather than 5, because there are a few brands out there with key features that (after trial and error) I now realize may have offered a significant amount of convenience in comparison.Regardless, I'm sure anyone that has already done this a few times would be perfectly capable of wrapping anything with this product.I will most likely be ordering more since its half the price of competitors and I now have some experience with this particular brand. It's all on the installer. The product itself is sufficiently rugged, does NOT tear or rip without first applying heat.. and it arrived on time in pristine condition.Edit: Decided to try out a more difficult piece. The wrap also does good on vinyl.. both hard and cushioned.

I give this zero stars, I don’t know if I get a bad roll or if this is just a very very poor quality product. It immediately ripped as the back paper was being taken off leaving a large hole, so immediately like 2feet was a waist, then when being applied and smoothing out the bubbles with a cloth tipped squeegee it tore again in two spots. I’ve used other similar products on other vehicles and never once in four years had this problem. This was a real waist of my money.

I have tried many different brands of vinyl and as they say, you get what you pay for. And in this industry, the name matter. 3m and VViVid for me only. The vinyl was peeling off the backing as I unrolled it. A ridiculous amount of air bubbles during application which were not easily squeegeed like with quality vinyl.

Arrived fast with prime . The vinyl is very very thin . You do get what you pay for . Im not unhappy with the product for the price. If you want a vinyl wrap thats easy to apply with no bubbles and a high end finish , this is not the product . Im very crafty and good with my hands and i made an absolute mess with this on my car . I have usded it to wrap other things like picture frames and such with great success .

I like the most was the packaging and how quick it was delivered. However the product cracked on me and feel like either my 3rd wrapping skills sucked or the product sucked. Either I need more time or bite the bullet and spend $100 on really good name brand wrap from the wholesale distributor. The strips are name brand expensive wrap.

I used this product a few times on the exterior of my car and it's very difficult to apply without tearing it. It's very brittle and doesn't have much resistance. It rips just trying to take out wrinkles. I do not recommend this for any exterior or even interior application.

This was crap, we purhased all things necessary to ensure a smooth project including an autobidy friend and before we even started he said ugh, and then we tried with a vengeance three times to no avail and I bought a huge roll for my daughter and her fiancé soooooo the rest is sitting in my garage I'll find a use for it soon I swear it !

Got this thinking it would be good, peeled the colored wrap off my hood to put this for a carbon fiber look, it is horrible gets holes very easy ripped in half trying to put it on, really disappointed
