easy to use
The controller is very easy to use, and easy to access the different parameters that need to be setup for it's operation. Having the connection points on the bottom made it very easy to connect wiring from the different components. Also very easy to access the different system voltage, wattage, and amperage outputs, for both solar and wind. Would recommend the Pikasola controller to anyone who is considering the purchase of a hybrid controller. Product support personnel answer questions in a timely manner, and give excellent backup of their product.

Great Controller for Hybrid Systems
I rated a 4 for now, simply due to the Manual is a tad tricky, although you will need basic understanding on how the unit buttons function, for each parameter and follow the process. No Rushing on setting the metrics. Unit tells you every part of the Power Input and Batt State - WIND/SOLAR/DC OUTPUT can show all, Volts,Amps,Watts going thru the Button Interface on this Unit. I recommend at this time, new setup here, expanding my Offline Power Grid Capabilities.

Works as advertised
I had this for about 5 months now. It works as it should. I have 600w solar panels and a 500w windmill hooked to this and I use 2 lifep04 batteries it has no problem keeping them charged. I use it for 12v system works great with a 2000w sinewave inverter.

a decent product with great customer service.
The controller works fine, the instructions are in kinda broken english but make enough sense. After a year the dump load resistor failed but it's not needed for operation and the company did a partial refund and has very fast and friendly customer service.

Wind and Solar Hybrid That will charge LiFEPO4 Batteries.
Wind and Solar Hybrid That will charge LiFEPO4 Batteries. Instructions are interesting. When you get them figured out you will have to program for your battery. Customer service is available and seems to be knowledgeable.

No manual
No manual with it. Had to contact them to find out how to get one. Had to download it myself. If you get this and are using lithium life po4 batteries the correct setting in the parameters is b4. not b3. In the manual it says b3 and does not even list b4. The tech. said b4.

Company sucks
Boght controller and turbine. Customer support can't answer questions about their own products. Turbine produces 1/2 power as advertised. Had to figure out wiring on own. Instructions had poor diagram. DO NOT recommend.

Not reliable/not rated as advertised.
I have 4, 100watt, 12v panels on a sun chaser. I went through 2 of these within a year, year and a half. Each blew a different circuit. It was great until it failed just like the one before it. I have since moved to a dedicated solar charge controller for my panels. I also have 2 sets of harbor freight panels on the same chaser. The harbor freight system even doubled has never failed nor faulted.

The solar charger doesn't work. The lines coming off of the panels read on the multimeter but the charge controller does pick them up when connected.
