Wall Mount Pool Table Cone Chalk Holder "Choose Mahogany, Black or Oak"

I bought my husband a pool table for his birthday. Since I really do not know all about how it is played I bought things that other people bought. This is a beautiful wall placket that the powder cone fits on. I did add one thing to it. A paper plate placed on the pole prior to the cone keeps the powder residue off of my floor. He likes it!

Like others mentioned, IT NEEDS A SECOND MOUNTING HOLE!! Easy enough to fix with a drill bit and extra mounting hardware you will have to provide, but annoying that whoever designed this would only put a single hole like its a still painting on the wall or something else never touched. Even with a heavy duty drywall anchor, and an over sized washer to spread the load against the wood in the provided mounting hole, there is no way to keep the unit from sliding back and forth on the wall. If you don't understand how to add a mounting hole and the term "oversized washer to spread the load" etc,,, buy something else. Unless you don't care that this thing will constantly be crooked on the wall. So remove the wooden chalk post, drill a second 1/8" hole about an inch up from the base on center in line with the top hole. Get another screw and anchor that matches your top hardware. The chalk will hide the second screw from view if you care about that.The appearance is cool though and the lions head adds a nice touch. Oak finish is really nice too and the color match to the picture is accurate.

This fits the cone chalk just fine, looks good, no surprises. The only drawback is when you hang it on the wall; there is a single small hole, centered and near the top. I set a plastic screw/mount in the drywall, then used a black drywall screw to fasten the holder to the wall. I had expected to have some kind of hanging dealio on the back like you would have on an award or on a picture frame, but the hole for the screw is all there is. Other than that, it's inexpensive, looks good, does what you expect.

I'm not sure what kind of technology is in this thing but it is simply amazing. This sophisticated device somehow keeps my cone chalk suspended at just the perfect height all the time, the anti-gravity device or whatever is in this thing works flawlessly. I used to find my cone chalk laying on the ground the very instant after I took my hand off of it, which really pissed me off. This device has saved me tons of frustration and has added countless years to my lifespan due to lack of stress. Life is better for me after buying this product, hope it has the same profound effect on you as well.

Nice quality. Sturdy and looks nice. My only issue with it is that, while it comes with 2 mounting screws, there is only one hole at the top to mount it to the wall so the bottom will move back and forth when people use it. To prevent this, I had to remove the nice lion's head towel holder ring and use that hole to secure the bottom. I'd much rather have the whole thing secured to the wall than a towel ring. Other than that, I'm happy.

Works and looks great in game room. As other reviewers indicated, original wall mounting points on this are not the best. Before assembly, added a couple more mounting holes. Also added a small wooden support bracket under 'shelf' just in case someone puts a little too much downward pressure when grabbing some chalk. Swapped out provided screws for longer drywall screws to ensure they made it all the way into a wall stud. Super secure now and complements dart board/cue rack nicely.

This was purchased for use in a bar (commercial) environment and so far it has held up well. Im only giving it 4 stars because the hardware that came with it seemed sub-par to say the least (some assembly req'd). So a slight change was necessary, but other than that its doing well. Time in use (to-date): 1.5mos
