I purchased this for my 8 at. Instant pot because I liked the way it had a handle that could clip together. I had been using the stainless steel type that fold up and they are hard to clean and not easy to remove since they are hot to touch, plus the part in the middle can make it hard to fit things in it which does not happen with the sling. I made a delicious pot roast placing it on top of the onions that were sautéed and then put the browned meat and two foil packets that had carrots and potatoes and it was easy to snap Tahoe handles shut! So nice when it was done to hold a plate next to my IP and just lift it out and place it on the plate. None of the tender meat fell of it either! It was easy to open up and remove my veggie packets, but care was needed trying to slide the meat off onto a dinner plate. I should have used a cutting board or larger plate to make it easier, but I was able to do it without making a mess. I highly recommend adding this to you cooking tools! clean up was very easy too, I thought it might be hard to clean the openings but it was very easy to clean.

This just works. Clean, simple design that makes the whole process smoother and safer. No awkward balancing or burnt fingers, it's just lift and go. It’s one of those things you don’t think about until you use it, and then you wonder why you didn’t get one sooner. Feels sturdy, cleans up easy, and fits like it’s supposed to. Nothing fancy, but it does the job perfectly.

I followed someone else’s review on how they make yogert in the instant pot. This allows me to make yogert without a water base. My yogert comes out better using this silicone trivet. I have made lasagna in the instant pot, but getting the pan out was a problem. This trivet with handles would solve that problem! A very innovative product for the instant pot!

The Instant Pot red sling is an essential accessory for me. Durable. In use daily for four years with no sign of wear. Perhaps always setting it on the I.P. trivet to keep it away from direct heat helps. I use it for the pot-in-pot method with a titanium covered 2 liter back pack pot. No burned fingers when lifting from a steaming pot. Covered P-i-P method allows for dry roasting and wherever condensed steam would otherwise dilute sauces and seasonings. No stuck-on food on the bottom of the main pot makes for very easy fast clean up. The sling is also essential for p.c. a whole chicken.

I like this silicone lifter for baked potatoes, carrots, broccoli and cheesecake. I set it on top of a rack. It's good quality and makes cooking in the pot easier.

One reason we bought an Instant Pot is that our old rice steamer finally died. When it arrived, it didn't include a 'pot in pot' for steaming rice. When we got one, this sling came up as a 'you may like' option. At first I wondered if it was really necessary but decided to give it a try. Now I can't imagine using the vegetable and rice 'pot in pot' accessories without it. My wife was also slightly sceptical when she first saw it. Every time she uses it she says "I'm so glad you got this. It works so well." It's easy to use, easy to clean and much safer (as long as you wear an oven glove) than reaching into the Instant Pot to get the rice dish out.

Good buy. Always good to get the makers brand and not a cheap imitation that falls apart.

Love this. It’s perfect for when you cook something pot-in-pot in your Instant Pot. Never sticks or gets in the way. I’ve used it as a trivet too, for when I take the big pot out. I know some slings that button together can come apart and cause disaster, but this is all one piece so it's safe. Washed and used many times and it’s still like brand new. Definitely recommend.

Gift for my daughter in law for her instspot. She uses it a lot. No worries about getting things out safely
