(EDIT: 2+ YEARS LATER) Extremely Durable & Reliable
While I do have wireless earbuds, I usually only use them for exercising just because always worrying about a charge is a task and I tend to overlook that. That said, I just wanted something that was wired that I could use at a moment's notice and have great sound with a very good price. These 100% do the trick. I'm not some kind of cork-sniffing obsessive compulsive audiophile, but I like to have great sound with a good balance of lows, highs, and mids when I'm using the audio player on my phone without having to EQ anything drastic. With these, I can run the EQ flat and still get reliably superior sound. If the audio is not good, it's more than likely coming from the sound file and not these (garbage in, garbage out). These earbuds are extremely sturdy and well built, and the wiring is a bit more heavy duty than most wiring that you'd see on any other earbuds. The controls work well and I have had zero issues or complaints. I really like the mesh bag and tin (like an Altoids can) that they came in. I keep them in this, as I tend to baby the stuff that I have to keep up their lifespans, so this is very handy. I did change out the cushion earbuds themselves and put on triple flange ones that I had ordered for another pair a while back for other (now deceased) ear buds. I just favor those. I'm leaving this review as my son came to me and said he needs new wired earbuds as he destroyed his last (crappy) pair. If he ruins these, there are not other earbuds on earth that might be suitable for him. If that's not enough of an endorsement that I'm buying a second pair with the success of my first, then I don't know what would be. UPDATE (MAY 12, 2021) I've bought 4 sets of these so far. The first pair for myself well over a year ago that I use every single day for meetings (yay, telework!) and education stuff and leisure phone time. They get plugged in and unplugged multiple times a day. They are still 100% good (I baby them, clean them, and keep them in the tin). My son has ruined 2 pairs (he ruins EVERYTHING, this is no surprise). My daughter has a pair one month old and uses them every day. She loves them!! UPDATE (JULY 29, 2022) I still have mine, and they still work as good as the day that I bough them. My kids have gone through theirs, as well as a few other pairs, but they don't take care of them, so........ The replacement ear buds that I use are here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R8RMY2C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I still use them pretty much every day while at work for meetings and listening to streaming music and taking classes (and communicating through various webinar/teleworking platforms). Zero issues. I do take the ear buds pieces off daily to clean them under water and wipe down the wired earbuds. I also wrap them up and put them back in the little case the same way I found them. My son ended up getting Bluetooth earbuds, which suits him as there is less to destroy overall. My things last a VERY long time, due to how I treat them. If you are careless or a big slob, then it won't matter what you buy. Definitely got my money out of these!

Great purchase
The earbuds are great. Beautiful blue color and the sound is pristine and clear. I was looking to buy beats ear buds but couldn't find any new. So I went with these and very happy I did. I would recommend me!. The wire is thick and feels like good quality. Ear buds sit nicely in the ear. I have had issues finding some that wouldn't fall out of my ears and it has been a struggle! These stay right in. Fit perfectly!

Pretty Darn Good
Update March 28 2023: the foam eartips have apparently sucked up my earwax, deformed, and are now rock hard. The foam started off super squishy and comfy and now its just a mess. They need to find another foam material to use that wont deform or harden from absorbing ear wax. Reduced by 1 star for this. So I have been going through earbuds like crazy. I mean a lot of them. USUALLY when I am not trying out new buds, I will opt for the cheap sony earbuds knowing that I can have them in while sleeping and not hurt my left ear (laying my head on a pillow with buds in). Opening the box, small, compact, nothing crazy. Had a had written note inside thanking me for supporting a "small business" which okay. Glad I could help? lmao. Anyway. I bought the black with orange accents. Feeling the cable, I like the rubberized coating. It feels good in your hands. I would assume if you were someone into sports, this rubber coating will be great considering if you get it sweaty you will probably still have grip thanks to it being rubber and not cloth. I wont be testing that because I am not capable (handicapped). Anyway. The sound quality isn't BAD per say, but its obviously not perfect neither. When I sleep I use Binaural/Isochronic frequencies. Which generally means one frequency in one ear and another frequency in the other for Binaural, and both frequencies in both ears for Isochronic. SO FAR, I have been focused mainly on Isochronic lately. AT LOW VOLUMES like when studying, the headphones don't like it. The tones used at 70hz and 72hz which gives you a 2hz Isochronic effect. Or I will do 63hz and 70hz for 7hz Iso which is great for imagination and visualization. Anyway, at low volumes these headphones don't like having pure frequencies playing. You can hear something inside clapping like how a speaker cone will flap. Otherwise for music/tv/anime you don't have any issues at any volume. Now I just so happened to buy the Logitech G333 at the same time. Similar pricing. I will say you can tell the difference in sound profile. The G333 has more bass as it has a dual driver design. So the low end sounds WAY better in everything compared to these. However, the LUDOS here have way better upper end in terms of treble. So its sharper and thus slightly more clear sounding. The LUDOS have this weird special effect. Generally for typical "over the ear" headphones, you would have closed back and open back. Open back give you more special sound while closed back generally feel more enclosed making the sound feel closer to you. Most people don't care about this but figured I would mention it. The LUDOS somehow make you feel like it has special sound even though they are ear buds, but at the same time they are feel close. So you get this weird close but far sound from them. Its not bad, its just, unique. This is generally personal preference anyway. I don't mind it, some "audio snob" might care. Granted I don't think audio snobs are buying cheap headphones! LOL. So far, I am happy with these. I ESPECIALLY love the colored foamy tips they come with. I haven't even tried to crack open the extra pack of tips because I just LOVE how comfy the foamy tips are. I personally think all brand should go with the foam like tips as LUDOS have. Honestly the BEST feature in my opinion.... Again I am happy with these, mainly because I can wear them when I sleep. Which is the main reason for my buying earbuds in the first place. When I am up and about, i generally where my snobby Sony MDR-Z7M2 cans which are just, next level..... Sadly the G333 cannot be worn when sleeping, they hurt my ears.... So LUDOS won my nighttime. NOW the question is, how long do they last. My sony earbuds generally last 6 months which isn't great. Granted sleeping with headphones is considered "abuse" at least in my mind. My last pair of earbuds were JVC memory foam earbuds which sadly only lasted from DEC 2022 when I bought them until January 2023 when I got these LUDOS to replace them. So yeah the JVC couldn't handle the stress of my nighttime routine (mainly the drivers failing due to pure frequency being played all night long and not actual content like music/etc). I hope LUDOS get some frequency reading gear for output, so they can test their earbuds and find the frequency curve. Everything used to make a headphone will effect its sound in some way. Sometimes minor, sometimes major. The housing material (plastic, metal, composite, etc) to the shape of said housing and even the shape inside where the sound bounces around before it gets to your ear, to the driver being used, the cable thickness and length, can all effect the sound. Going off my own ears and knowing what neutral headphones should sound like, these are definitely not a flat response. However, I will mention again the upper end, the treble range, sounds extremely good. Very clear and sharp. For those that prefer that kind of sound profile. If you want more bass and less top end, the Logitech G333 would be a better alternative (1:1 comparisons without using an equalizer, obviously you could in theory use an equalizer to add bass to the LUDOS and make them sound more full on the bottom end). OTHERWISE, these have been great SO FAR for me.

Comfortable with good sound
Good sound, multiple sized buds included. Much better than the crap wired earbuds you get on some flights. Way more comfortable than apple earbuds to me. I bought an adaptor to use with iPhone. Haven’t had them very long so I won’t talk about longevity. Much healthier than wireless from what I have been reading. Also keeps your phone away from your brain. Great value so far. Update: lost my first pair and just repurchased same thing. The additional ear buds are round instead of the elongated ones shown on the product. I find them more comfortable, more external sound blocking(sizing) but strangely enough they make the earphones sound better to me. More bass and less tinny. I really like these. I hope whoever found my other ones enjoys them as well. 😆

Definitely getting real bang for your buck! Edit: Great Customer Service in case of errors as well!!
EDIT 2 [OCT. 8, 2020] After getting in contact with customer service, they were very amicable and understanding, offering to send a replacement for the defective product. The replacement pair was back on par with the standard I came to expect from Ludos, and works properly! I can go back to recommending them in good faith knowing that customer service is reasonable when it comes to these kinds of issues. ___________________________ EDIT: So this brand had pretty much become my go to. Bought the headphones a couple times, and they were great! Lasted a decent time, good sound, the whole shebang. However, my most recent order was a total dud. The volume controls didn't work properly as they should. The sound would sometimes fade out in one ear if you moved the cord a certain way. Just a big let down. Which sucks, because I really liked this brand. Can't really keep recommending them with a glowing review if they send out duds, though. EDIT 2: It's even worse than I thought. Just tried to take a class with these bad boys...the mic isn't even functional. I'm gonna have to drop it another star. I sincerely hope this isn't indicative of a drop in quality. I really used to see this as a reliable brand...but a pair of headphones with this many problems on day one? I'm just...so disappointed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are definitely a solid pair of earbuds! It's always a struggle finding a good pair based on reviews, and the old brand that I used to buy from has steadily declined in quality. However, these are absolutely amazing! Nice clear sound, no tinny sound--they get nice and loud and even do a good job at noise cancellation. I definitely haven't found anything that can best these at this price. Nice to have found a new go to.

Review of Ludos Clamor Wired Earbuds (yellow) after 2 months of use
I am writing this product review based solely on my observations and use interactions with the LUDOS Clamor Earbuds - I haven't been offered, given, or promised anything in return from anyone for my review. I purchased the earbuds for a total price of $12.44 on August 12, 2021, and they arrived August 21st, the same day I began using them. PRODUCT USE SPECIFICATIONS: - Samsung Galaxy S10+ MEMORY FOAM TIPS: What first attracted to me to these buds were the memory foam tips, which I hoped would finally provide me with a stable earbud - I don't use these for any activities which require an abundance of movement and sweating, mostly listening to music while on flights, or while on toilets, or while on toilets while on flights. - The foam tip requires such a high amount of force to situate itself within the ear canal well enough so I'm confident it will not fall out, that I fear I'll begin creating fancy earwax diamond-like minerals from the intense energy being produced, however once in, they do fit rather decently for sedentary use - sadly, to date I have produced no earwax diamonds. - I tried swapping the foam tips out for the provided rubber tip replacements to see how they might compare, but none of the four sizes would allow the earbud to fit comfortably enough in my ears. - *UPDATE 10/23/2021* I should mention that the replacement rubber tips are quite difficult to put on the earbuds, but turning the rubber tip inside-out makes it much easier. I added a short video showing how I put the rubber tips on. SOUND QUALITY: For reference purposes, I mostly listen to metal, rap/hip-hop, & jazz. - Although the base level of the buds out-of-the-box seemed poor, I navigated to my phone's equalizer controls and after some tweaking, I was able to customize/improve the sound based on the genre I was listening to. At such a low cost, and after adjusting the equalizer, the sound quality with the memory foam tips was pretty good to me. - *UPDATE 10/23/2021* I tested the microphone on the replacement earbuds, making an audio recording of just my voice outdoors using my phone, and although I could hear everything fine during playback, there is a noticeable muffling of the sound when compared to a recording I also made without the headphones plugged in. I didn't buy these for the microphone, so it doesn't matter to me, but I thought I should add this to the review nonetheless. DURABILITY: I first began experiencing trouble with the earbuds beginning of October 2021, approximately 7 weeks after first use - While listening to music, it will randomly prompt the virtual assistant on my phone (Bixby) to popup, waiting for an audio command from me as it simultaneously pauses the music. To bypass this, I simply hit play again on the music player and all goes back to normal, until it prompts again, and again.... - As of October 14, 2021, the right earbud no longer produces sound, unless I happen to move or nudge the headphone cable, when sometimes the sound reappears momentarily before I hear a crackling sound in the bud as the sound stops again. I try my best to remove the buds only using the black tip near the male end, however I am humble enough to admit there have been times I removed it using part of the yellow cable, which probably doesn't help maintain the integrity of the wires within. *ADDED 10/23/2021* CUSTOMER SERVICE: I have had only one interaction with the Ludos customer service team - they accepted that the product I purchased was faulty, they replaced it with a new pair at no additional costs to me, both of which were appreciated. - Inside each earbud case is a handwritten note that thanks the buyer and reminds to complete a review online, I like that personal touch. CONCLUSION: For the price, the sound quality was great. I would expect to receive more than two months of use though, even when considering the low cost. ----UPDATES---- *10/16/2021* I requested support through Amazon and after troubleshooting, they directed me to open a warranty claim with Ludos. I have messaged them, and I will update this review as I receive updates myself. **10/16/2021** Ludos contacted me within a few hours - they determined the earbuds were faulty and agreed to send me a replacement pair. They didn't ask me to return the defective buds, but I was prepared to do so, if asked. ***10/22/2021*** I received the new earbuds today and have delicately started using them. - The sound quality is just as good as the original pair, after adjusting the equalizer.

I'm not sure why or how these are as cheap as they are.
I'm constantly using headphones and I hate Bluetooth. I was probably the last one to the dance in order to actually switch over from wired headphones to wireless headphones. So imagine my surprise when I saw these beautiful sets of headphones for the value of the money of which they have. These little things are super durable and the carrying case is super helpful. They are very stable in the sound department. The quality is terrific and I think more importantly, the pieces of it show that they can actually survive over an extended period of time rather than it just dying within the next 6 months. I probably wouldn't use them to go to the gym or other things, but for office headphones that you're using when you're riding; the comfort is unmatched and they are the perfect product.

Good quality, somewhat sma ear buds
First impressions: As of now I've been using this headphones for a little while and I think now I can give some feedback. Headphones came in a small metal box. Nothing more, nothing less. Inside the box there were headphones themselves (with protective buds), a zip pack with 3 pairs of actual buds and a small pouch. Sound wise they are good. I don't really expect much from mobile headphones, so regarding sound quality my feedback is subjective. To me it either works and sounds good, or doesn't work and sound bad. Same goes for microphone quality, which is also good. What got me off guard were the ear bud sizes. I've had a lot of different headphones and medium size buds have always been the perfect fit for me, so, naturally, I went with medium sized ones for this one too. It felt weird and I couldn't tell what was the reason until I decided to compare the size with my previous headphones' medium buds. I was surprised to see that they did not match. I switched to the largest buds and now everything feels good. The cord isn't very long but has a good feel for it. I'm not sure what material is it. It feels good to the touch, flexible and sturdy. My real concerns so far are the joints - parts where the cord connects to aux port and ear pieces and media control block. Cord begins as soon as it "gets out" of aforementioned pieces and I think it might get damaged in those places with relative ease. Media control block sits a bit too high for my liking. If it was only a microphone I'd have no issues but since it also allows to control media, if I want to, let's say, increase the volume, I'd have to reach out to my chin level. It isn't very convenient and I found myself using this entire block only as a microphone as using my pho e for the same controls felt more intuitive and convenient. The pouch is a nice thing but I don't think headphones fit good in it. If I wanted to, I could put them entirely inside the pouch but it would require too much cord bending and took me long enough. I don't think I'll ever use it TBH. So far, I'm happy with my purchase. It has good build and sound quality, but since the cord joints give me some concerns, I'll rate it 4/5. We'll see how it goes and I might add another star if I'm proven wrong.
