It works
Had to return a different version which was the wrong voltage and provided no way to set program mode. This item however has a simple switch to 'prog' mode and voltage is all correct so easy to program an ESP-01.One thing to remember. The ESP-01 is power hungry and is unable to run from a low power (i.e. regular USB 1 or 2) port. Had to connect through a POWERED hub, then everything worked 100%.

Dead easy to program EPS 8266-01
Used these to program the ESP8266-01 modules using the Arduini IDE, and it's a piece of cake.Nice, little module that does the job.

It works perfect for esp8266, AND, it can be also used for programming for ESP32.

Better than a breadboard
Works perfectly for programming cheap esp8266 chips loads easier than wiring up with a breadboard

Easy to switch between PROG and UART. Works well, not had a problem with them.

Not working n I have to solder pins
Not very happy data pin not even soldered onto pcb so I have to solder it up if I wanted a kit I would of ordered a DIY kit
