Maybe CD quality from Bluetooth!
Having been disappointed with the older bluetooth devices such as Logitec my research led me to the Audioengine B1 and Auris BluMe which share a common highly rated Digital to Analogue converter. Both devices are similarly priced ( £150) and appear to be US developed and made in China and make similar claims of 'CD quality' output. I firstly ordered the Audioengine B1 but the fragile antenna broke off when I was attaching the connecting leads meaning that I was unable to test it. The Auris BluMe appears to have a better designed antenna, was very easy to set up and has very much impressed with its initial performance. Using an iPad with various on line sound sources, not to the highest quality standards, and plugged into my 20yr old HiFi system I am enjoying a stimulating musical experience with a good dynamic range and a nice separation of instruments in orchestral pieces. For me, it is too early to say if it as good as a CD played through a quality deck, but the music is significantly better than anything that I had heard so far from any bluetooth linked system. Expensive but provides for a very decent musical experience, Have since been able to compare the performance with a 'lossless' FLAC streaming source of BlueMe vs a Chromecast Audio device connected to my old amplifier via an Optical digital lead. Whilst the BlueMe was good the extra clarity and range using the WiFi/ Chromecast link has the edge!

Great sound quality, well made easy setup.
I was after a decent Bluetooth adapter so I could stream music from my iPhone and iPad to my old school real HiFi. I have been using an Alexa Flex for past few years and it worked ok but sound quality was not very good. I did a google and YouTube search and this adapter kept coming up as a good buy and it was on sale as it was Black Friday. Connected USB cable to back of my Xbox and the Bluetooth adapter to my Cambridge Audio amp via some high quality RCA cables I had and paired it to my phone. Sat writing this review loving the sound quality and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

A great solution to upgrade the abilities of a classic quality hifi
I have a pretty good classic hifi system and wanted to connect via bluetooth to it to make more of the amp and speakers. The Auris BluMe does the job perfectly. It was well packaged and came complete with cables and power connector. It had good instructions which made connection and set up simplicity itself. In operation there have been no issues with reception and the result is I can now listen to music from other sources (tablet, computer, phone apps) and hear it at a much better sound quality and volume than those devices allow on their own and without going to the expense of purchasing a quality bluetooth speaker which would only make my existing system redundant which was the whole reson for making this purschase. It's a perfect solution and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Simple to connect
Needed to connect to 'old' amp. This does the trick wonderfully - simple to set-up, connected first time, quality seems sufficient for my needs - when would-up loud on an ageing system, no distortion can be heard, success.

A great way to breathe new life into an old HiFi set up without breaking the bank
A new lease of life for a faithful but 'mature' Arcam alpha amplifier and Technics speakers. Easy connection to an unused RCA pair (video in)and instantaneuous connection to SMART phone Bluetooth to stream Amazon music, Youtube or any other audio from the phone. Sound quality seems very good although initially I thought the mid-range seemed a little 'muddy' but this has resloved itself. Good clear English instructions and well packaged. Palm sized so easy to tuck discretely away.

Good piece of kit
Unfortunately I had to return this item as it didn’t do the job for which it was intended. However when connected to another source it worked well. Simple to set up and no doubt will be very useful for most people but it sadly didn’t do what I needed it for.

Comincio a riprodurre un po' di Jazz: Matt Penman (The Catch of the day).

I wish I discovered this thing sooner! Very neatly packaged and feels well built. I used nicer cables than the ones supplied. Connected with my phone and Tidal and the sound is very pleasing. It's not exactly critical listening worthy but for background music it's awesome! Set up was a breeze. I connected into a preamp socket, hooked up to an auxiliary input and paired device. Music started up with no issues. Nothing beats a designated 2 channel system playing quality source material but this little guy is absolutely perfect when you just want music playing and your catalog is unlimited. Definitely recommend
