I’m an art teacher, and I love showing videos from John’s YouTube when we do pottery. I saw the book and had to get it. Book already inspired one of my students to make the chip and dip bowl! Fantastic breakdown of tools, basic wheel techniques, and the different projects and how-to’s, especially with the step by step pics!

Great book by a great artist
I purchased this book for 2 reasons, 1 I am very new to pottery and this gave me some very helpful tips and tricks, and 2 I know the author! I own a couple of his pieces, and the book was a necessary addition.

Very Well Written
After watching the author on You tube I noticed he had a book out. This is a great book. Lots of pictures and steps are easy to follow. This is a good book for beginner potters.

Great Starter Book
This book addresses all you need to start. I've had a few lessons and this book helps where the lessons were confusing or I just plan forgot. Very much recommended!

Helpful book for both new and experienced potters
Good Primer for new potter with good reminders and inspiration for more experienced people as well. Jon brings the sane enthusiasm to the printed page that he has on his YouTube channel.

Love this book and there are great illustrations showing how to create pottery.

Looks like a photocopy of original. Pixelated, distorted and streak marks on images. For sure it's a colour copy of original at originals price. Poor experience.
