Great Styling Brush
I love this blower brush. I had one years and years ago I have been trying to replace for probably 20 years. I finally found this new one. It is lightweight and it is not loud. It is a 1/2 inch larger in diameter than my old one, but I just wind my hair tighter. Curls come out just like you want. Love this one.

Easy and excellent quality
I always try to have a spareCurling brush in case the older one wears out... this makes styling my hair a breeze and doesn't fry my fragile hair like a curling iron does

Light weight
I love Hot Tools products. I have been looking for a Hot Tool air styling brush for awhile. I have had at least 3 in the past. This is not the one I was looking for but its the only one that was a styler not a volumizing brush. So first off I do like this brush it is light and easy to handle. The cord is long and it does not get too hot. It is warm enough to do a good job in a fair amount of time. My worry is its been about a month and a half and the top part of the brush is starting to wiggle and it seems like it may fall off soon. Hopefully it doesnt because putting that aside this has worked well for me.

Easy to use.
Works great on my straight hair. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Didn’t take long to curl. Waited until my hair was dry.

Poor quality
The Hot Tools Pro Artist Hot Air Styling Brush, despite its sleek professional look and hefty price tag, falls markedly short in real-world performance. Its ceramic barrel heats unevenly, creating odd hot spots that either don’t style effectively or risk singeing delicate ends. While the handle boasts airflow vents for comfort, they direct heat straight onto your palm—making longer styling sessions uncomfortably warm. The bristles, intended to offer tension and glide, tend to snag and tangle hair, negating any salon-like smoothing you hoped to achieve. Instead of a glossy blowout, what you get is a frizzy, inconsistent finish—and a frustrated user juggling sections and redoing passes far more than necessary. All told, it delivers far less artistry and far more aggravation.

Not the same quality I had come to expect from Hot Tools!
Disappointed. I own one of the original Hot Tool curling/brush/dryers and this is poorly made by comparison. I am keeping it because I wanted the smaller barrel, but the barrel is plastic as opposed to the original metal one and the bristles do not retract to release the curl, but instead, the whole barrel unlocks to uncurl freely. Meh. Doesn't prevent tangles like the original. Shame on Hot Tools for decreasing the quality of their product

Just the right tool
I purchased this to use on synthetic wood wigs. It has worked wonderfully. The low setting and plastic bristles are perfect for how I want to use it. I appreciate the cord doesn't tangle up it moves along with the brush.Depending what your need is, this is a great tool.

I use on my synthetic wigs
I use this tool on my synthetic wigs that are not heat friendly. Works fine for me. It is noisy but i usually have it on no longer than a couple of minutes for adding some curl to my wigs. If using on heat friendly wigs, make certain you follow the directions provided by the wig maker.
