I recently purchased the Coravin Timeless Standard Needle, and it has exceeded my expectations. This is my second replacement needle in 10 years. It fits my version 1 Coravin perfectly. It even comes with a small tool to clear the needle in case it gets clogged. 100% recommended.

After breaking the needle on my Coravin while sticking it into a bottle of wine, I realized something! These needles don't last forever. I also realized that my old needle was getting dull and it was requiring more effort to push down into the cork, so that's probably why it finally broke.The new needle is sharper than a tack and easy to insert. It was easy to install and fit my Coravin perfectly. Hopefully I'll get 2-3 more years out of this one, but doubtful since I am now using the Coravin a lot more.

A bit fragile and have to be cautious to not bend this one. For the price, maybe a better alloy with more forgiving behavior under load would be worth exploring.
