Tekview Powertxt Remote Power Control & Power Loss Alerts via GSM Mobile Network

Solid, well made & simple to use. I bought to reboot my BT router on those occasions every few months when you're away and the broadband just stops working so you can't control the heating or check the CCTV. Feels like 10+ yr old technology - big old SIM card and GSM signal and parameter messages like #02# - but no disrespect - all the more robust for that and presumably needs minimal signal (it can text you the signal strength - another practical feature). You can set it up to switch off & on again every Sunday night at midnight or whatever, sounds useful although I haven't tried that yet. In fact, I've just bought a second to do another job!

This product does exactly what it claims to do. Very impressed with the ease of setup and operation. I’m using a “pay as you go” SIM (full size) and using it to remotely monitor a Fridge/Freezer.

Real straight forward to setup, with really nice feature set

Although the Powertxt is not exactly cheap, it is very well made and works extremely well. Ideal for what it is intended for.
