When my mother taught me to sew, she said rule #1: never skimp on your scissors. So when I took a chance on these scissors I feared (because of the price) that I was breaking my mom’s rule. But they had good reviews, so I gave them a shot, and I’m very glad I did. First I do a lot of leather work and leather is hard on scissors. I was dawn to these because of their steel construction. This means they can rust and must be maintained with oil, but it also means the blades should hold their edge under use a little better. Out of the box the scissors were impressive. They are well constructed, easily adjustable, and comfortable. My current projects are in nylon rather than leather, but the scissors preform beautifully. Very smooth, straight cuts. I can’t speak to the longevity of the blades yet, but I can say that my previous scissors which I wore out after nearly two decades of use, cost three time the price of these scissors and cut no better out of the box. Will these scissors last 20 years? Will they hold up to resharpening when necessary? I can’t yet answer these questions, but if they don’t, I’ll still have saved enough money to buy two more pairs. If you don’t mind oiling them up (I give them a couple of drops when I oil my sewing machine) and you need a really good pair of sharp steel scissors, look no further, these are for you.

A surgical incision from the back of the blades all the way to the tip with no skips or glitches doesn't matter what you use them for. They cut multiple layers of different materials all the way to the tip of the scissors like a hot knife through butter, and what's best for me, they cut thick leather with the same simplicity. These are fabulous. I use them every day at work. Very sturdy, compact and definitely without a flimsy feel whatsoever. I am quite sure they will stay sharp for years to come. I use them mainly for cutting different kinds of leather and they are great, it doesn't matter the type of leather or its thickness...up to 0.19 inches easily. I also had a chance to use them on several layers of foam and vinyl. Work is super easy, no pain in my hands or thumb and without even the slightest tension in my hand. High-quality scissors for such a low price, definitely the real deal! Extremely pleased with seller customer service as well!

This scissors are just amazing, every time I cut fabric I feel how great they are and I just wanted to make a video about. I was getting tired of my old scissors (you get frustrated of them not cutting). So I just look for a new upgrade and this scissors are just the best. It also bring the tool tu cut the tags of clothing .
