TC Electronic PolyTune 3 Mini Polyphonic Tuner with Buffer

Was using a small tuner that you clip on to the guitar end and tuned with that for about 2 weeks and the sound just felt off, so after looking at many reviews on reddit (yes there..) people suggested this brand and pretty much any non clip on type tuner, so I gave this a try. It is NIGHT and day difference, the guitar finally sounds like it should and its such a good feature to not have to hear the tuning through the amp every time. Easy to set up, just plug in line with the rest of the pedals you have and press the button and tune away, press again and you are back to playing on the amp. A bit on the pricy side for an item that you use rarely (well depends on how often you play) but I mostly check before every session and all seems to be somewhat still in tune after a day, there is some shift as of course nothing stays in place even if you dont use it. Not too heavy to move about, the plug inserts are snug to the point that you need to put force on it to unplug which is great for places where you might be moving around a lot and definitely dont want it coming loose. Display is super bright, and you can clearly see if you need to adjust anything it will show as red if its wrong (out of tune) or green on a very bright one if its correctly set up. And its big enough to read even from farther than 6 feet. Works well with a boss amp and some yoyo overdrive pedals and a fender electric guitar. Do grab an extender for your current pedals as this does not come with its powersupply.

Whenever people ask what the best tuner is, my answer is always polytune. Others have other answers but there is no other pedal that is as accurate, fast and has the polytune feature. To even get close, you need to spend double the money, so nothing else has the value. On top of that, this is a mini pedal so fits on your board without taking up too much room. And it has a nice display that's easy to see even at a murky gig.

Turned up on time, great little tuner, unfortunately, like other reviews I've seen, this was not a new item and had scuffs and scratches on the screen and no quick start guide in the box, it's a shame on the one hand as it really is a nice bit of kit, but on the other hand having to return it gave me the opportunity to go for it's big brother, the Polytune 3 which wobbles about less on the peddle board and has a couple of extra features and was only £10 more.

Ive had this for 4 weeks now and works super well! Very bright screen and highly accurate for strobe mode. I haven't worked out using the custom tunings yet though... I am using it with an isolated power supply and it adds no noticeable noise to my signal chain Its very small so fits easy on my board and feels like a strong shasis that shoud last at least a few years. Good value for money!

Top marks for this little beauty! I had previously used a tuner that was built into a multi-effects pedal which was very good, but I sold the pedal. I bought a cheap tuning pedal to replace it, but it was just very slow to respond and seemed to struggle with my basses. I ended up buying this as I know TC Electronic make quality kit, and what a great tuner it is! Instant response to any note I play! It looks good too - metal casing and a very nice bright, easy to read display. The description says 'Ultra Compact', but it's only slightly smaller than a standard Boss pedal. It also has some fancy functionality that I haven't looked at yet, and perhaps will never use. Anyway, if you want something that provides a lightning fast response to any note - especially using a bass, then just buy it!! Don't skimp on a cheap tuner as they just don't 'cut the mustard'.

Accurate well made tuner. The game changer for me was that a pp3 9v battery can be fitted inside easily by removing 1 large screw. So you don't need a 9volt power pack adapter.

視認性が良い。電源供給ができる。バイパスの切り替えができる等良い事は沢山。しかしバックパネル開けるためのネジが固着してしまっていた。日本の硬化で開けない方が良い。ペンチも壊れた。パネルも傷ついた。昔の余った人民元硬貨でやっと開いた。固着したら無理をせず返品した方が良いですよ。せっかく良い商品なのに惜しいな。

Wonderful! It tunes very accurate, and the polytune feature is a really nice touch to find where you're starting to get out of tune to make a quick micro adjustment. If you're playing an open chord that's sustained for a moment, you can even quickly tune an open string during live play. I also enjoy being able to enable the tuner while playing which is great for practice. The size and design is also quite lovely.

The way it shows the results is so fast and very responsive and accurate. The buffer in it is very useful.

Grandísimo pedal para afinar la guitarra, ahora con la posibilidad de tocar todas las cuerdas a la vez y ver de un vistazo si todo está en su sitio. Lo compré a un precio buenísimo, más bajo que en otras tiendas, y en un color negro que es una maravilla. Queda estupendo en una pedalera y tras más de un año intenso de uso no puedo estar más contento.
