Pricey but 100% worth it!
Once you get past the price you will see the quality and ease of use! The install was relatively simple and took about 15 minutes. Was a bit confusing at first to figure out how to lift and release but once I got it sorted out and practiced it a bit, the function is flawless. Super happy with this.

Great Product!
I love this thing. Well engineered. The operation was a little confusing however there is a very good instructional video online demonstrating how to use it. Customer service was very helpful when I had a question. It works great!

Perfect - No cables to tie to the wall
Bought one, tried it and then bought two more. Had to use the "bucket trick" during install, but worked great. Bikes are out of the way and easy up and down. No power required and no cables that need to be tied into a wall.

Ease Of Use and Customer Service Support
I’m not one for posting reviews, I was seeing some negative reviews about this product that almost discouraged me from purchasing it. After going back and forth I finally decided to make purchase and judge for myself about the functionality product and the customer service support if it was ever needed.I recently purchased two of the 40 lbs Kradle lift to free up space in my garage. I installed one in the ceiling of my garage which was a very easy task to do. My problem arise when I attempted to lower a 10 FT cable to the floor following the instructions and it only fell about 4 FT. I wanted to repackage the lift and return it for a refund. Then I saw looked at the instruction and on the first page the Founder thank the byers for support him and prior to your installation gave three options to assist in the installation of the product. After all the problems that I was having, I called and got a voice mail so I left a message. Seeing that it was late I didn’t expect a return call that evening. The next day as I about to call them, they were calling me back. I explained my problem that I was experiencing, and Marc walked me through the installation and setup procedures. After what seems like several hours of him working with me, he asked if I had installed the other Kradle yet and I told him not yet. He asked me to install it so he can explain how it works. I told him I would call back as soon as I get it mounted to the ceiling, but I didn’t install it right away. He then called me back and I told him that I was not at home as soon I get home I will call. I called him when I got home and once again, he walked me step by step in setting up the bike lift. Once we got the other lift working with full extension and extraction all 10 FT it felt really GREAT!!!!! But there was still a problem and it was not the lift, this time I realized that my garage ceiling was too high. And he gave me solution/remedy for that as well.He asked me to bear with him a little bit longer because it bothered him that the first Kradle that I had installed was not working and wanted to do some more trouble shooting. We did and I was able to get the cable to lower two more feet. After all we did to get the Lift to work, he told me that if I want I could send it back to him and he would send me new one. He followed up to let me that he received the one I mailed back to him and to see how I was doing with the new one he sent to me.I would highly recommend this product if you are short on storage space in a room or garage. The Kradle bike lift it is worthy investment. And the support that I received was first class all the way. I have never had customer support or dedication like I receive from Robert and Marc. A big thank you.Rohan Dickenson

Good concept, bad design and raising/lowering does not work
This is a great concept and design but my experience in installing and using it has been terrible. I am generally quite good at self installing and figuring things out.The installation of the main unit to the ceiling joists was quite smooth. The design of the notches which go into the screws and washers is quite good, and makes it easy to install the main unit. So kudos to that. But most of the steps after that were exactly the opposite.Attach rope end cap: The instructions literally say "... cut to the desired height before ....'. What height should I be desiring? I don't even know how this rope (which is later called bungee cord) is even used. So no idea what desired height will be. I didn't cut it yet since I cannot make shorter things longer, and I can always shorten it later. Not a big issue, but wasted time.Install docking arm: It was not clear how to pass the cable through the docking arm. I finally figured out that the docking arm has a small cut to pass through the cable. Not a very big issue, but wasted time.Adjust height: This was the most terrible step. First it said "If the harness is too high..." without saying what the desired height should be. I figured out later that the desired height is 2 inches above the bike's handle bar. Mine was much higher than that, so I had to adjust the height.I have no idea why it exactly needs a 5 gallon bucket. I did not have that (who does?) so I tried to use a paint bucket lying in my garage. It wasn't too heavy, so I wasn't worried. But it did not work, and I was very scared to put more force to pull down more cable. I then thought may be there is some arcane reason it will only work with a 5 gallon bucket. So I went and bought one from Home Depot. I have no running hose in the garage where I am installing this (again, who does?). So I had to fill the bucket with another small vessel (needed 15 to 20 round trips). It still did not work when I pulled down firmly as instructed, and quite a bit of water spilled on the garage floor. I was really scared to pull down with more force.I then decided to just lift my bike to the height of the cable and test out the raising and lowering functionality.Stabilize handlebars: The instructions just literally say "Wrap the bungee cord around the front wheel and downtube to stabilize the handlebars". How do you do that? I tried a few ways unsuccessfully.Raising and lowering the bike: I was able to follow the instructions to raise the bike once. But once I lowered it and then tried to raise it again, it actually just elongated the cable down (the thing I was trying to do with the paint bucket and the water bucket). I needed that, and it started happening now. So that was good. But now it does not raise the bike. No matter how I pull on the cable to try to engage the lift, it just keeps on extending the cable. There is quite a bit of slack in the cable now. I am removing slack by tilting the bike, as instructed. But it is just not engaging the lift anymore. So now I have a $150 product mounted on the ceiling that does not work. This is overly complicated, very flaky to make it work consistently. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Way better than pulley systems
Have only used it for a short time, but works great. Bit of a pain to set up, but as expected. Bought the 40# model thinking I was going to use it for a tandem, but ended up using it for a far lighter road bike. This probably makes it a bit harder to pull down, and it rises fairly quickly, which has to be controlled. So, I wouldn’t recommended the 40# unless you really need it. However, I’m pleased so far. If it continues to work well over time, I’ll add a star. It’s built solidly, so I’m optimistic.

Easy to operate (e.g. getting bikes up & down, then one click & you ride).
Awesome product. Great to have our bikes overhead in garage (with our 12 ft. ceilings)!
