Useful fan with some extra thought put in
Upon receiving my portable fan and doing some checking and testing, I will say that overall I am pleased with my purchase. I will cover a few points here that I hope can be helpful and maybe answer some questions the reader may have.Intended use: I bought this fan to be used during the late spring and summer months in my 4-person Coleman dome tent. I wanted to suspend it from the top center loop that is sewn in place to provide a bit of a relief breeze and to circulate the air a bit (to minimize condensation).Thoughts: First impression was that the fan was of good build quality for the price, in my opinion. We all know these things can be hit or miss, but this one is actually a pretty decent little fan.The most important consideration for most is going to be fan output. I can say it’s a little stronger than I expected, and here is a rough estimate of its reach for those trying to get some kind of idea:Low setting- can be felt at about 2-3 feetMedium setting- can be felt at about 4-5 feetHigh setting- can be felt at about 6-7 feetBy “felt”, I mean “still perceptible”... but not “blast your face off”. Hope that helps. The light is controlled independently of the fan, and has 3 brightness settings. I feel they are about right for the amount of light you‘d want in a tent at night. The lights are mounted in a way so that they do not cast shadows when the fan is moving. This could have been a problem if you were camping with pets that like to chase things or that get freaked out easily. The fan holds its position well and it will rotate to pretty much any angle you’d like. The “scent/mosquito” pads are a nice little extra touch which I would never have thought of myself. It comes with two of them and only one of them fits in at a time, so you will have one spare. It says they are cotton, but they are more like the texture of a makeup sponge. That‘s good though, and I expect they would hold up and function better than a cheaper cotton pad.The only issue I could see here would be if you needed to replace them for whatever reason. They are only held in by friction, so you’d have to be creative or use some kind of tape if you wanted to make your own. Not a big deal. The pad sits in a little cutout area directly behind the center of the fan blade (on the backside of the casing) and is easily accessible. The charging cable that came with it is of good quality. You may choose to use your own though, as this one may not be long enough for all uses. Still, USB micro cables are so ubiquitous that this won’t even matter to most people. So why do I even bring it up then? Well, because I have found that the charging cable included with a device can often be a very subtle indicator of overall product quality. If a device comes with a paper thin, shoddy USB cable, it likely means the company is cutting corners any way they can. Never a good thing when you’re the customer.Pros:- I like that this fan has rechargeable batteries and that it can still run while charging... so you never have to deal with the heat (or darkness) for hours while waiting for it to charge up again. That’s a big plus for me.- Quality is good for such a relatively inexpensive fan. Comes with some nice bonus features that many similar fans lack.- Customer service seems to care what we think about their product. I will update my review regarding any personal experience with them.Cons:- Not a true “con” because of the “use while recharging” feature, but it would have been nice if the fan could use more standard rechargeable batteries like AA or AAA, so that I could immediately swap out a fully charged set. You *could* still do this, because the two included batteries are indeed standardized— they’re just not nearly as easy to find and from what I’ve seen are quite a bit more expensive. I’m sure there was a reason for this choice, though... and as said, it’s not a concerning issue for 99% of users.Overall, the fan is worth the price in my opinion and I will update my review if anything substantial happens or if my thoughts change throughout its use. Otherwise, you can assume my opinion still stands and this has my stamp of approval.

Perfect for camping
These were a life saver on our music festival camping trip. Battery lasted a long time and the fan saved our lives.

Good fan, but battery life sucks
When the fan is charged, its great! The battery life is way less than 5 hours.... it says it could last 40 hours and maybe if it was on the lowest setting it may last longer, but I have not tested that. I use it on the highest setting and have to charge it multiple times in a day

Better than expected
Purchased these fans to put outside in the gazebo to push the air around. I must say the have a great run time and the light is very bright. Now I use them around the house also. You can either hang them up (could use a better hook) or stand them up. They work great either way.

Not assembled very well but I loved it while it lasted
So, I really did love this fan. I used it for camping, in the bathroom to clear the condensation on the mirror after a shower, and to cool my baked goods. The problem is it’s not assembled very well. The plastic pieces intended to protect the wires fell off after 6 months and then one day the fan clipped a wire and it died. Well, after an hour or so I pulled the fan apart and soldered the wire back in place. It worked again! But about a year and some change into owning it, the charging port stopped working. I tried to fix it but the way the batter is assembled made it very difficult to attempt a fix.So after about a year and a few months, the fan could not charge anymore which makes me sad.The led light on it has different setting of brightness and the fan has 3 speeds. On the lower speeds the fan lasts a long time. On top speed I’d say maybe lasts for 3-4 hours. The fan is not super durable and the charging port didn’t last as long as I expected. Might be worth it but I’ll probably be looking for a slightly more robust fan.

So far, so good!!!
I use the mini fan in my car. I've only had it for a few days. So far, so good. I have only used it sitting in my parked car with the windows partially down on a 75° day. I place the fan close to me and the air is sufficient. I have not needed to use the light settings yet.

Good product. Bought it over six months ago.
I really do like this fan, and was pleasantly surprised that the quality and design are as good as they are. My only issue with it is that it is not quite as durable as I'd like and need it to be. The first time my four year old grabbed it to check it out (because it is rather interesting looking even to an adult), it broke away right where the fan attaches to the stand that it pivots on. The wires didn't come apart, but the plastic frame broke. Now it's very fragile and not really safe for use around kids or pets or immature grownups. He wasn't very rough with it. He was just investigating and tried to turn the fan in a direction it wasn't meant to turn, and it snapped pretty easily. That's my only caveat. Otherwise, I really liked it. Rarely that even happens anymore with stuff I buy on Amazon. Lots of disappointments in general, so I hate that this didn't survive.

Great little fan for camping/power outage
I'm an avid wild camper (e.g in the forest, no electricity or amenities), and was very pleased with the air output even at the lowest setting. The three lighting levels were also very good. You can use it standing on its own, or hanging. I'm predominantly a hammock camper and noted that just hanging it on the ridgeline wasn't secure. I passed a 3/4 inch webbing strap through the frame and that worked great. It's very adjustable for pitch and yaw. Lasts a while as well
