South Park: Seasons 6-10

This review is about the bluray, not the actual show. The case is an average, nothing special case. The discs arrived OK. The picture and sound are both very good. I've had no problems playing any of the discs. If you're a South Park fan, you will not be disappointed. Most episodes from earlier seasons have been re-rendered in 16:9 HD using the original animation files so these are true HD episodes, not upscaled. They originally aired 4:3 in standard definition so these will be brand new even if you've seen them before!

I had to buy South Park when I found out Paramount has started censoring episodes on their streaming platform. Now I can enjoy the show without shareholders deciding what I can and can't watch. Good value for the money. Shipped to me quickly, in great condition. I always check my physical media for quality, and all discs played perfectly.

DVDs are on the cusp of making a comeback like vinyl, as streaming is (like South Park will tell you) pretty terrible. More shows should do sets like this. They cram enough episodes on a blu-ray that each set of five seasons takes up about as much shelf space as a single season of a traditional DVD set. The prices are reasonable, and Butters is there, so I'm in for the whole set. I'd love to see them use higher capacity/4k disks and cram a whole season on each one. My only complaint, is they don't include any kind of TOC. Lots of sets have a card or something that tells you what episode is on each disk. The disks are nice, individual art on each one, but they are only labeled "Disc One/Two" and a year in very small text. No way to figure out where a specific episode is, and reasonably hard to even get the disks in order if you get disorganized.

Received all the way on across the Atlantic in South Africa in excellent condition. Couldn’t be happier. Great job all round.
