Dog Leash by Lupine in 1" Wide Blue 6-Foot Long with Padded Handle

This is the best leash ever. My puppy has not been able to destroy this one and the handle is so comfortable.

I had this leash prior to purchasing it and I love it and still love it. Good options of colors, the clasp really bites into the leash, and since I don't use a leash that often for my dog, I like one that I can throw over my shoulder and run with that won't keep coming undone. These leashes are well made, the handle is comfy for a dog that pulls. I highly recommend. Although, if your dog decides to chew through the leash it will be quick. That's why I bought 2!

Easy to use leash - clips on to the dog collar very easily. I have had lots of leashes but this one is simple and quick to use. It has a wonderful warranty and is a sturdy leash. I really like the padded handle and how quickly you can connect and release the leash from the collar.

This is a beautiful well made leash that was perfect for six weeks. The catch held strong, the handle was comfortable, and it is the leash is easy to hold in the other hand for better control. BUT my standard poodle removed it from the doorknob on which it hung about six weeks after we bought it, and chewed through in no time. Admittedly, this poodle is a world class chewer (the same weekend he ate a good bit of a houseguest's Birkenstock sandal) but the leash does not seem to have represented a serious challenge, once he focussed on it. I am sure the company would be lovely about replacing it, but what is the point? We got a leash from my vet that has a chain inside the heavy duty fabric.

Like the Lupine collars, the leash seems built to last. I'm not sure I would call the loop "padded," but it is much more comfortable then a regular nylon leash would be! The clip is a little small, which can make it take longer to get on/off, but it holds even with a 70 lb. lab pulling against it, which is always a good thing!

So far this leash is holding up well. My dog doesn't tug on it too much but he has his moments of over-excitement. The handle is softer and easier on your wrist than a standard nylon loop. I also like the style of hook. It easily and securely clips on. I read another user's review that said it caused problems for a no-pull harness but we use a standard collar.

Several years ago I bought four of these leashes, 2 blue 4-foot ones and 2 black 6-foot ones, for my two dogs. I LOVE the padded handle. And I LOVE the sturdiness of the leash. But the leash uses a non-traditional clip, which apparently is called a gate snap. And while walking my dogs, that non-traditional has come unclipped at least three times, leaving my dog completely unattached. It just happened again today.For that reason I will, with great reluctance, replace the leashes with another brand that uses a more secure clip.

This leash is well made and the handle loop is easy on the hands. I like the collar clasp. It is easy to get on and off the collar. My dog and I are a therapy team and the length is great for the hospital where there are tight areas and alot of activity.

Love this new short leash. The handle is such a relief as it is padded. So happy to no longer have my fingers almost taken off by wrapping the long leash. I actually liked it so much that I came back for another but the price had more than doubled. :(

Lupine dog leads and collars are durable, they handle rough play and are easy to wash.

The padded handle on this leash makes it super comfortable, even when my dog yanks in an unexpected direction. The inward-clip mechanism takes some getting used to because it is unique but it definitely feels sturdy and strong. Love this leash. Recommend!
