One of the best EDC purchases I’ve ever made. However, to be completely honest, it’s not perfect out of the box. But with a bit of ingenuity, you can make it work. I’ve read quite a few reviews about the scissors, and I took that into serious consideration as I was specifically looking for a Leatherman for scissors. It was mentioned that the pivot screw doesn’t have a good clamp or is too loose, causing the scissors to fold open while cutting certain materials. Despite this, I still bought one based on the thousands of positive testimonials. Surprisingly, it’s much smaller than I thought, smaller than a key fob.To address the issue, I used a small ball pin hammer (2oz) to round the set screw a bit more, which eliminated the flop. Then, I individually placed each scissor blade in my small vise and gently bent the very tips together by about a degree. Now, they feel incredible! I can cut things with the tip of the scissors with incredible precision.Even though I did the final quality control check at home, I couldn’t give it 4 stars. It’s still an amazing EDC item, and definitely worth the investment.

Do not forget this sturdy, reliable multi-purpose tool is on your key ring if you’re flying! Because of the knife it will be confiscated!! Very high quality steel, very functional device, easily attaches to a key ring!!

I had my old Micra for about 25 years. It got lost from time to time, and always managed to turn back up. Last weekend I lost it for good, most likely in an Irish pub that’s too far away to return to just to locate a lost item. This seems like a fitting retirement, I hope a server found it and gives it a second life as their new favorite useful item.This new one has gotten more expensive in time, and that is probably the only change. It’s still a solid, well-made mini tool, the perfect size to put on a keychain or in the small pocket-watch pocket in your jeans. It is incredibly useful, and is the tool I go to first in many situations. Truly the only downside is that you may easily forget that you have it when entering a place where even this very small blade is not permitted, such as a courthouse or when boarding a flight (a few of my near-separations from my old Micra were in these circumstances).I do specifically recommend the stainless steel version. I tried one of the color options, and it felt flimsy by comparison. The color ones have an additional plate over the outer part of the tool rather than coloring the steel, and it felt as if the build of the tool was compromised to make room for that outer shell. I’m happy to have the old traditional back in my pocket, and I’m looking forward to another 25 years with this one.

A small very package with a ton of function. Multiple applications, easy to use, very compact. Perfect for all-day carry: I love it.

Mainly has manicure related tools but works great and gets tons of use. Pliers would be nice but I used the scissors more than I would pliers. And when I need pliers I need more substantial than this would give.But really wish I had a hex key option for my need.
