Perfect fit. Had to cut off the original bonnet(30 yrs old) off with a hacksaw (courtesy of YouTube ) worked great. Would buy again.

This was the perfect replacement for my Delta Scald Guard shower. If you are reading this, you probably can't get your bonnet off, been there, just hacksaw it until you start to see threads. Then you can pry it the rest of the way. It's best not to force the bonnet off if it isn't moving (don't be fooled by slight turns, that could be the copper pipes twisting behind it). I tried soaking the thing in vinegar, CLR, and PB blaster, each for 3 days with no luck. So glad I found this on here, for some reason it's not carried by most hardware stores.
