I was skeptical, but...
I thought, why not try it out. Honestly, I didn't expect much, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I figured the image would be distorted especially at the edges, or just appear to be blurry, etc., but I was wrong. I'm 75 years old with tired eyes, and using these 'tiny-screened' devises doesn't help. So, I figured this doesn't cost an arm and a leg so I'll give it a try. I did NOT make a mistake with this purchase. Glad I tried it because I don't have internet my TV, so no 'pay to see' channels Prime (no plug intended!!) is the only way I have to see special movies, or whatever. I can actually enjoy it a lot more if I can watch it with less eye strain. Works for me!

MOBILE CINEMA 4WHEN YOU STAY PUT
♡ I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS SCREEN♡I use it a lot. I have watched >100 hrs on it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7.The picture is amazing. It has little front pop dow feet to aid angling and more imprtantly there is a rubber strip to prevent your cell from slipping. YAY.One does need to get rid of any peripheral light. I close the curtains (thick velvet) in the day and use a dimly lit, salt-lamp at night. One may need to adjust screen brightness to suit taste and show. 1/3 worked the best for me for the majority of stuff. Different shows require slightly more or less. Just like the volume, each show may need a little tweek. Many reviewers mention; 'fish eye' glare around the peripheral image, (unavoidable per design, as this is the way it magnifies) however, I was able to conquer this by making a cardboard frame that slipped over the top of the screen and covered the edges. I didn't have an issue with the bottom portion. Peruse my photos. I know, not pretty, but trust me, it does the job. I made mine from the middle piece of cardboard found between the two layers of a 30pk beer. Perfect size & thickness to allow it to slide over the top and thick enough to be opaque. Another issue raised by many is the angling. It does have little feet, although I have on occasion added a small note book or two to raise it more when sitting low on the coffee table etc. In-bed-viewing or laying on the sofa, I put it on my breakfast tray with legs. This is the perfect height for the picture in screen. It takes a little adjusting to adapt to your differing positions, but this little device is brilliant. It does the job.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Almost there ... picture doesn't take up the whole screen
So, with a long flight, I decided to get a couple of these to use to watch our movies or make the switch screen bigger. It's almost there ...1) it's lightweight plastic and fits well into a backpack (like a small notebook)2) it has little flipper legs under so it props or angles up some3) the magnifying screen is plastic and has 'circles' that can reflect surrounding light4) the magnified image doesn't take up the whole screen as shown in the picture5) someone sitting next to you cannot watch the 'larger' screenoverall, it's a cool concept and works for one user. just need to get one for each person. we got an 18" and 14" still a little disappointed that the magnifying 'circles' can reflect surrounding light and that the reflected image doesn't take up the whole screen. doesn't work well for two people playing the switch on a plane :) but hey, it was nice to have our phone screens just a little largersturdiness and durability are mid-rated because of the lightweight plastic and how it feels, though, take care of it and it should be fine.

Buyer beware, this company is actively marketing with lies
I didn’t really expect much, after all it only cost me a total of $12.81 with tax. So the flimsy plastic material that was use in its construction was acceptable under the circumstances (the cost), What really bothers me though is the company’s false representation of the items size. Numerous times in the description of the product it states that the screen is 12”– Although it doesn’t specifically say the “diagonal” size is 12” I will assume that’s what is meant since that is the measurement standard for TVs. However this thing is nowhere near the 12” size it claims! The width of the screen is 8.75 inches, but worse still, the diagonal size of this screen is only 10 inches! A difference of 2 inches on something that size is actually pretty considerable–it is more than 16% smaller than what I expected, and what it claims the size of the item is! Really? That is not just a minor fluctuation in manufacturing, it is an out-and-out lie. And it couldn’t have just been a minor mistake of sending me the wrong sized item in shipping because, although several different sizes are offered in the product description, a 12 inch size is the SMALLEST version they have for sale! So where did this smaller 10 inch size come from? I think it’s really shady for a company to knowingly misrepresent the specifications of their merchandise being sold. I also think it’s equally as bad for a company to have such low standards regarding their quality control, and to be so careless with the details of the products they are representing, to want to write off this error as a mere oversight, or innocent “mistake.” I would send it back for a refund except that at this price point it isn’t even worth my time to do that. So I will begrudgingly keep this cheap little item that was falsely marketed as something it’s not, and I will feel like a sucker and a fool for being taken advantage of by a disreputable company masquerading as an Amazon parter.
