Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat, Tangerine

We are really disappointed in the quality of this car seat. We began using the car seat 4 months ago when our son was born and it has already become difficult to clip into the base in our cars. It is just as difficult trying to get the car seat out of the base and the stroller. The “pillow” for the baby’s head is flimsy and offers no support or comfort. The material of the car seat is also lacking and hardly comfortable. Just really disappointed. Should have spent the extra money and bought a better quality item. Lesson learned.

We love this carseat. It is sturdy, light, and snaps in and out of the Graco stroller with ease. My wife has neck and shoulder issues and needs to be careful when lifting heavy objects. This carseat is as light as they come while still giving you the peace of mind that it's made out of quality material and will keep your wee one safe. Easy to install into your car too, though if this is your first, get your setup inspected!

We bought this car seat in tangerine and we love it! At the time, it was the cheapest color to buy but we're glad we did! Our son came 3 weeks early and we used my sister's Chico car seat until we bought this. We really liked the Chico but couldn't afford one. This is a really great, affordable option...especially with the completion discount for your registry amazon gives you.

A little extra support (like rolled blankets) necessary for very little babies, though overall good for even preemies. Long-lasting, fairly easy to clean and adjust as baby grows. Certainly heavier and a bit cumbersome to carry as baby gets bigger.

I love graco and this is holding up well for us. Fits baby well and carries well. Wish it was lighter but I feel like that is the case with all seats, once baby is in they are all heavy. haha

We got this to replace our expired car seat from an earlier child. It works great in every respect, except that this one has a tendency for the straps to twist A LOT. It just seems to me that I have to constantly be aware of how I pull up the little keys for the lock each time or the strap will twist inside them.

This product has been great for us. Another thing to be aware of, something we definitely never planed for, is that not all car seats are suitable for smaller babies. As our baby daughter was a preemie and the law in our area was that the nurses check your car seat before discharging the baby it had to be rated for babies from 4lbs and up. This seat is able to do that. The connect system for the car is simple and secure. The reason I gave it three stars is that the highly publicised recall on the buckle system for Graco car seats. Although this one is not in the list (as far as I can make out) they allow you to order the newer buckles without an issue, make of that what you will but to me it means they aren't so sure it won't happen or they aren't that happy about it. Anyway the three stars are because yes it works great so far but the wait time on the new buckles is six to eight weeks or in real terms one and a half months to two months..... That's a very long time in baby years and a long time to have that doubt in your mind. I decided to go ahead and buy it as the connect system allows you to remove the car seat from the car in a hurry if there is a problem with the buckle and the whole travel system is very good. Last point. I spent a lot of time looking at stroller, car seat, travel systems and they all had great reviews and terrible reviews. My wife and I went to different stores and actually handled the options and this was the one we felt most comfortable with in the big wheel jogger range. We've had our little guy for 3 weeks now and this carrier has been everything that I need it to be. The base went into the van in less than 5 minutes and is definitely very secure. The car seat itself seems very solid and well made. To get the LO in, you simply place the dude in the seat and then assemble what amounts to almost a 5 point harness on him with the crotch strap connecting to the two waist/hip ones and then there is an additional connection that goes a little higher up that connects the two shoulder straps (with pads) together and amounts to kinda a sternum area connection. All in all, its very secure once its on and its not particularly difficult to put on once you get a hang of maneuvering your baby's hands through the straps. To tighten, there's a single strap in the front that pulls evenly on the shoulder straps back towards the head and tightens the whole ensemble. To release, you need to push down on the release that located where the single strap comes out, its actually inside the fabric area so you can't see it on the outside. The seat itself isn't too heavy, neither I nor the wife have any issues carrying it, but its a tad bulky. I don't really consider that much of a down side really, most of the quick connect ones are. The only real downsides I have at all with it are that the canopy doesn't fit inside the carrying handle very well so its a pain to get one to pass the other and the handle itself isn't the most ergonomical in the world so it can get tiring if you are going to carry it a lot. Both are very minor points though and I still consider this a great carrier and am very happy with the purchase.
