Best Ever Amazon Purchase. Nothing like a campfire. Nothing like a ribeye hard seared to medium rare perfection on a 1200 degree campfire with 6" red hot coal bed.I don't usually write reviews but this product is so perfect that I had to. I have put this fire ring through 2 seasons at my vacation rental, and through 5 day mega fires that would have left other fire rings smelted into a whimpering puddle of goo.This is the toughest fire ring I have ever seen.The pictures do not do it justice. I have packed a 1/4 cord of wood in it at one time and this thing just chews it up and asks for more. I seriously can not believe it has not melted or at least warped. Nope. It is as good as new and the swivel is still perfect. Just grilled the best steaks I ever ate for the extended family over Thanksgiving week.It is a must have for any real back yard or fire pit. The swivel and grill grate are incredibly heavy duty. The handle on the grill grate never gets hot and one can swing it into use without gloves.I saw other comments about rust? Burn that paint off on day one and run with the big dogs. This fire ring is legendary.**Update 11/2022- 3 summers in the short term rental and still performs like new. Was there last week and someone was resting their foot on the grill grate handle. No problem. Bulletproof. Just purchased my 3rd. 1 for me and 2 as gifts. Great sale price. Still my favorite Amazon purchase. I don't know this company but I wish everything was built like this.

Bought this & installed it in the center of a concrete pad for my fire pit & entertainment area. Very rugged & has stood up well to many nights of use & the grate has been used to cook many meals. This isa fire ring & grate this will last for the long haul.

The overall construction is heavy enough for a backyard firepit. The difficulty with it arose when I attempted to put the grill swivel together. The swivel consists of a piece of pipe with a threaded plate welded into one end and a cap and washer on the top. In theory, it should slipped through the grill ring and down into a ring in the base and then been bolted from the bottom to retain the assembly. In reality the swivel was not even close to fitting and could not be assembled without forcing it with a sledge hammer.One might say - well why didn't you just return it. "It" is a 70 pound steel ring and grill that arrived in a box that virtually fell apart when the plastic straps were removed, and would have cost me a great deal to return so I slammed it together and will just have to live with a fixed grill that will not swivel as advertised. This is either very poor engineering, quality control, or both, and truly unfortunate as my family and I were looking for something just like this, but functional.Update 11/8/2015 - Titan Distributors contacted me regarding my problem with the fit and offered to send me a replacement, and apologized for the trouble. The replacement arrived and went together without hassle. The construction is substantial and the grill and ring will last for years. Many thanks to Titan for responding so quickly and positively.

Hate to give this 4. I’m disappointed none of you said anything about how loud the squeak is when you spin this thing. Also would add that a 1” or even 3/4” flange would be more forgiving for someone building the pit themselves.Other than that, it does everything your imagining.

This is a good thick fire ring. It adds a really nice finished look to my stone fire-pit. I wasn’t sure about the grill, but my wife likes it, and it’s simple to remove if I don’t want it there.I’ve only had it a couple weeks, but it’s been raining and I don’t see any of the rust some people have complained about. The metal is thick enough that if I do spot some rust I’m not going to worry. It should be easy to sand off and paint over with some high-temp with no damage.I did have to use a grinder to cut off a couple tabs near the bottom on the outside so it would fit in my fire pit, but other than that it’s a perfect fit in my 36” pit.

I looked at many fire pit kits and fire rings before I purchased this one. I wanted a heavy gauge pit ring that would hold up for years to fit a 36" interior diameter fire pit. Most of the standard fire pit "kits" I found had a 27" or 30" fire ring made of disappointingly thin materials. This Titan fire ring was exactly what I was looking for, great heavy gauge material in a larger 36" size. The attached cooking grate that swings on or off the fire on a pivot, was a nice bonus but it can be easily removed for those that might not need it. This ring really reminds me of the ones you see at state of federal campgrounds. It is really well made and looks like it will last a very long time. It also works great with the Cast Iron Bar Grate Size: 7" H x 30" W x 30" D by Uniflame that is also sold by Amazon you will see in my picture. I put landscaping blocks from a local big box hardware store around it to form a very nice addition to my patio. I did have to cut new angles on the landscaping blocks with a concrete saw to get them to fit but the finished product is very nice and exactly what I had envisioned.
