Good quality
This didnt fit my dog, he was an inbetween size, Med didnt fit ( His toes were hanging over the end & the LG was Too big.. Just the curse of a mixed pupperoo. If you accurately measure and your dog's measurements are right in the middle,g o for it. Top end or lower end or the spectrum, I would pass and head to the vet to get something more customized.

Not bad, my dog likes the taste I guess
So my GSD/Malinois pup broke a toe, chewed up his cone collar and cast from the vet in a day. Found this and tried it as an alternative. The initial fit was awkward because of the gaps at the top by the mid thigh and below the hock, but it worked really well for a few days after we made some modifications. We even put a cut sock on top to cover all the straps. He seemed to tolerate it pretty well after encouraging him to leave it aloneUnfortunately, he ripped through the sock, and ate the top two straps today. Happy Valentine’s Day to us!Hoping we can attach new straps to what’s left of the boot and that the rest of the boot will come out naturally.

I'm going with 1 star because....
This is a hard one to rate. (And I will update my rating based on how this is resolved by the seller and how the splints work when I get a pair that my dogs paws and legs aren't floating around in)The rear leg splints I've just received (I ordered 2) LOOK like they might help my border collie. I can't be sure of that because of the pictures of the product as shown on the white dog above and the measurement instructions. The seller has provided a picture of the measurements. The lengths are right but the actual instructions ARE FOR THEIR FRONT LEG SPLINT.THE ACTUAL PRODUCT PACKAGING:While the illustrated picture still looks like the splint is supposed to go almost up to the knee the actual PRODUCT PICTURE on the front of the packaging is of a dog wearing the splint and it shows it barely above what I will call my dogs ankle. (I believe this is actually called the hock). And "barely" means just covering it and no higher. Also, the packaging provides weights. Based on the instructions (on the packaging) if the measurements are in between sizes go with your dogs weight. So instead of the large size I ordered based on seller information provided, the large (which fit my dog exactly in length as the picture in the ad showed) I should have ordered a small based on her weight. She is a 42 lb to 45 lb 12 year old border collie with slender paws and long legs. The large size is for 61 lbs to 80 lbs. This would have been invaluable information to have in the ad AS I WOULD HAVE QUESTIONED ORDERING SOMETHING THAT IS MADE FOR A DOG TWICE THE WEIGHT AS MY DOG.While I am loathe to rate a products quality based on a sellers performance in this case I feel they are one in the same because you cannot use a product if the seller doesn't provide the correct information for you to choose a functional product.Besides the considerable price difference between the two sizes (small vs large) I also paid considerably more for expedited shipping. I've waited and watched USPS tracking desperate to have something that might help my dog stay off her knuckles only to end up with an unusable product....on Memorial Day weekend.Hugely disappointed but I hope this will help the next person order the right size.

Not accurate and Slippery
The photo was taken before I added padding inside the splint. It wouldn’t stay on.I went by the size my vet told me my dog was. That meant getting the x-small and it was still was not good size for my 10lbs Yorkie. As for comfort, the splint slides on hard floor. I had to put something under it to make better but thank goodness she only wore it less than a week. I went back to my makeshift splint. Honestly this was a waste of my money.

This brace is a great help to my dog!
My 85 lb hound dog has an inoperable mass by his spinal cord. I bought this brace to stop him from knuckling when he walks. It works perfectly! I was surprised at how well the fit is and how quickly he took to wearing it. I just received it today and he is running through the yard and jumping on an off the sofa with ease. And no more knuckling, which is a relief...I was afraid that would cause further issues down the line. The brace is well made and sturdy, the velcro straps hold nice and tight, and it's well padded. He seems comfortable wearing it and isn't trying to remove it himself. I remove it when he's just laying around and put it in him when he wants to go outside or play with his toys. Well worth the money to make his life more comfortable!

Didn’t fit
They are well built, but in spite of measuring my dogs leg and the splint being the “correct size” it didn’t fit my dog well at all. It was way too deep for her leg and I had to pad it out considerably to come close to a fit.

Excellently made, durable and easy to use!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this after my 95 lb Giant Schnauzer fractured her rear paw. The vet had made a cast for the hind leg, but it caused skin breakdown, forcing us to remove it. The dog could not walk on the paw at all without the cast, and originally I was looking for a rear-leg cart for her for cruising. I found this brace while looking for a dog cart and was impressed by it's apparent quality. I have not been disappointed. From the brace sizing information, to the durable construction, this brace is top notch. I found it very easy to apply, and the dog finds it comfortable. The inner padding and design of the brace has protected against any skin breakdown issues. I have included a video of the dog walking on the fracture the day the brace arrived. As you can see it works quite well and does not bother the dog at all. Highly recommend this product!

Great for support
My dog had surgery on her back leg and over time it got arthritic and sore. She didn’t like the plastic foot on this she felt unstable. My husband cut the foot part off, ground then edges smooth and it worked like a charm.

Customer has to pay postage to return item
If this product doesn’t fit just right you’re on the hook for the cost of returns. According to rules it must be traceable as well as insured. It cost me 20% of the cost of this item to return it. So now because I made the mistake of ordering online I just threw away 20$ to return a item that didn’t fit properly. Very disappointed and will no longer order anything of this nature online

I gave it a three because i had to return ...
I gave it a three because i had to return it.It was not able to fit my dogs back leg because of his unusual dimensions.the seller did contact me and says he will try to help me get a measurement that might work.Am trying another type of splint but will contact him if this does not work.

Not ideal for high-strung dogs
We have a doberman. He's got really long legs and, despite the injury that requires him to have leg supports, he's quite strong and high-strung. Our vet recommended this splint. I bought an XLarge, but our dog somehow managed to break the plastic clip that holds the D-ring that you use to tighten the strap around the top of his leg. It's not like he can run with this thing on. We were walking quite quickly, though, and all of a sudden he just stopped and sat down. I discovered the broken bit on the splint. I don't understand how it happened. That plastic on our splint seems quite brittle. The slint is useless without that D-ring because we can't tighten the splint at the top of his leg ... it just flops around. I can maybe tie something around the top to keep it on his leg, but given what we paid for this thing, seems to me it should be sturdier for large breed dogs.
