Love these shoe covers! I have worn them many times (at Disney, around town, kids soccer games). I even wore them for a 4 mile road race in the rain! At the end of the race my feet were dry while all my friends had wet shoes and socks. The treads are great and prevent me from slipping.

No only not effective, but dangerous. I wore them at a theme park today because it was raining. One shoe stayed somewhat dry and the other would've been better off not being in the cover to begin with. The worst part was almost slipping and falling several times. I then did slip and fall and hit my head. I then proceeded to toss these in the trash. Be safe. Don't buy.

I bought a pair for myself, size L run little, I think the more you use it the more will get better? I hope so

So! Let's just make this a short story ASD son broke his big toe, had surgery, then had cast. He had Summer Day Camp with loads of walking and stuff and a field trip. That involved going to a lake. I knew that he needed something more to protect the second cast (he broke the first one) from... EVERYTHING. While he had a boot for the cast, this covered the rest. He did manage to tear it up on the gravel so be forewarned.Pros: super stretchy, can still zip up no matter what you've pulled it over, will protect the top and sides.Cons: The bottom part is still vulnerable to ANYTHING that would normally put a hole in plastic, it gets bulgy in places, never found out if the zipper was water proof (thank goodness!)

First, I love how easily these stretched over and fit my shoe. The silicone is very soft and pliable. I where a men's 10.5 (width 2E) Hoka walking shoe. Unfortunately, by the end of the second day that I wore them (once across a parking lot and back and between such on carpet indoors for about an hour, and a few days later - all day long -14 hours - on watery and snowy black top ground outside and cement shop floors and carpeted office floors inside - at work). When I got home on my second day of using them I discovered the soft bottoms had been destroyed and had holes that I could stick my fingers through! Now -- in defense of the shoe covers, perhaps they were not designed for all day use on rough cement and black top, but rather merely for short durations from your car to a building and then taken off. BUT- I did not see any disclaimers listed as such in the ad. Also, some of the shop areas CAN have metal shards on the floor that MAY have accelerated their breakdown. However, it did cross my mind (even before ordering them) whether something so soft and pliable as stretchy silicone could hold up over time when walking on blacktop and cement sidewalks and parking lots, even without the metal shavings factors, i.e., pebbles, debri etc. The soft soles make them easier to store and tote, but a harder sole would clearly NOT have so easily and quickly deteriorated like this. So... your call on it this product is for you. I'm trying to decide whether to return them for a refund, or try another pair and use them only for to and from buildings in inclement whether (though that seems quite limited in use and a hassle).

We purchased two of these- size L and size XL. By the end of using these three times, both sets had to be tossed due to rips and tears.

This product does not live up to the hype that the seller is showing. Being that I had to wait for snow or rain in order to use this product, use of the product was sparse for me in my area. Therefore, I had only used them a handful of times (that's around 5 times) and the silicone has ripped away from the seams where the zipper is melted into the Shoe Covers, and there must be extremely tiny holes in the souls of the Shoe Covers, as when I have taken them off the past 3 times of use, there was water inside the Shoe Covers...so much for the claim of waterproof.The return policy was for only a month, by which during a rainy season may be fine, but like I said over the past 3 months, I had only the opportunity to wear them around a handful of times. So I cannot return them, there is no contact number, per se, i.e. I am going to have to hunt for a number or contact. The only thing I can do is write a review. In the video it shows them stretching and pulling on the Shoe Covers, which is fine and dandy, but it apparently didn't work with my Shoe Covers.So if I were you, I would seek other shoe protection! Don't buy them.
