Awesome Little UV Flashlight. Don't let its small size make you think this light won't find Scorpions, it will! We have 2-large UV flashlights that require 6-AA batteries and they use & eat batteries like they're candy treats. This small UV flashlight only needs 3-AA batteries and it's size is super handy. For anyone new to hunting & locating scorpions this little monster is fully capable to do the job. Now it may not have the 'distance' seeking power of the larger lights, but it is more than capable of finding them very efficiently. I wish we had bought this as our first scorpion light instead of the last. We really didn't need this as a 3rd light but at the price and high ratings we decided to buy it and try it...Yes it works great! As a plus, we'll save the cost of the flashlight in just using less batteries in a very short time. We take finding and eliminating these potent monsters very serious. My wife got tagged on her foot and we spent 9 hours in a hospital until she recovered enough to be let go.

Bright, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny This LED flashlight seriously exceeded my expectations. The brightness is clear, powerful, and perfect for everything from nighttime walks to finding things in dark corners. It feels solid and well-made, not flimsy at all, and the grip is comfortable in your hand. Also a good match if using a UV glue!

Man, this thing works great. Too great. This UV flashlight will reveal stains you didn't know about or want to know about. I had a wall in my house that looked like a crime scene. No idea what it's from. Lots of "staining" on the armrests of two chairs in the house where people have apparently wiped their hands after either (hopefully) eating or picking their nose. Either one is disgusting. I coudn't believe how filthy some surfaces were in the house and how bad the aim is around the toilet. And/or walls and floor. At least not on the ceiling. This is really something else. Nicely made flashlight too.

I bought this flashlight to detect pet urine in a new house I moved into. It works very well — it clearly shows stains on the carpet and even on the walls. I used it in the dark, and it helped me find hidden spots easily. However, there are a few things to note: the flashlight is a bit heavy, it requires three AA batteries, and it can slip from the hand if you don’t use the wrist strap. It can also be very useful for checking hotel rooms, such as beds, walls, or bathrooms, to make sure the place is clean and free of hidden stains. Overall, it’s a very useful product for anyone who wants to make sure their home (or hotel room) is clean from pet urine or other hidden stains. I will attach some photos to show how it worked for me.

This flashlight works for its intended uses. It's conveniently small and light, but not too small. The lens is a good size, maybe 2" - 2 1/2" diameter, unlike the pencil type flashlights. We used it to find out if carpet moths were still nesting in our Persian rugs after we sprayed the room. The moths light up pink. We should have searched sooner to prevent the destruction. Thankfully, the moths laid in rest.

I picked up this ESCO LITE Escolite UV flashlight (51 LED, 395 nM) hoping it would help spot dog urine and pet stains around the house, but it was a major letdown. It technically works, but the output is really weak—even on full power with fresh batteries. It barely illuminates stains in low light, and you'd have to get it super close to detect anything useful, which defeats the purpose for quick scans. Don't bother with the 51-LED version; opt for at least a 100-LED model if you're in the market for a reliable blacklight detector. I ended up returning it because it was just too weak to justify keeping. Save your money and frustration!

The ESCO LITE UV flashlight black light absolutely DOES work to detect dry pet urine. I don't know what people are doing that makes them say it doesn't work, because it does. It does not work on wet urine, only dry. I was so hoping that I wouldn't find any places where my dog had peed without me knowing ... sadly that was not the case. But at least with this product, I can make sure our home is as clean as it can be and use an enzyme cleaner on the spots I found.

It does the job, I initially bought it with a blue light pen to mark my goods but....I was tempted to look at the bedroom floor in our rental apartment...it found stains of things invisible to the naked eye aaaaaaaargh.....

good flash light range. excellent aluminium body! powerful to use even in daylight price should be lower.

This DOES work. It is definitely a real UV light. I bought it to look for old cat pee spots. It works. Use it at night. Some pee spots may need you to get closer with the light. Because of urine content. But I've tested it. It works. For being a "fun" black light. It's pretty strong. Don't look at it. I recommend this. It works.
