3 Tier, 147 Bobbin Holder for IKEA Kallax Units

Used for tidying up all of my bobbins with cotton reels. I had bought the two row box previously but used it for my overlocker cones(one shelf only) so bought this for all of my reels that are smaller than cones. It works really well. I cannot believe how many reels I had in different draws all over the house. I now have them all tidy in one place. I found it easy to go together and was going to glue it but it seemed so secure when I put it together I decided to wait and will glue it if it needs it.The box is longer and wider than the original box of two rows which means they are not stackable.It is an extremely useful cottons box and now I have them all in one place I doubt I will ever need to buy any cottons again!

Extremely easy to assemble in just a few minutes. Easy to follow instructions, but found they were not really needed. Advised to use wood glue however, because it is such a good fit in the Kallax unit, I found this wasn’t necessary.I had thought about spray painting it white, then decided it looked fine as it was. I’m very pleased with it overall and would recommend, especially if you’re like me and hoard thread.

My husband is thrilled with this. Somewhere to store his flytying threads and wires. so easy to assemble and quick delivery too. Would recommend.

It is a brilliant use of the unit. I can see all my reels easily. No more doubling up. I have inherited reels from grandmas and my and hubbie's mums. Never knew I had so much mid brown¿If your thinking you wont fill even half. Be surprised. Mine is almost full.

Great product, You do need Wood Glue for sure and the Dowels were too Short for me but I purchased different ones separately.Works well and tidied up my sewing threads really well

Nothing to dislike they work well, are made well and relatively easy to put together. I think I have bought 6 now and have all my normal, embroidery and overlocker threads sorted & stored.

was great held a lots of threads. only problem the pegs did not stay in had to glue them into place

It would be great if it was a little thinner so that it could fit inside a space where a door has been fitted.The dowels definitely need to be glued in, a dab of wood glue does the trick - the hole in the board for the dowel is not deep enough to hold without glue
