Good budget metal detector
This is good at what it does: finding metal objects on the beach. All I was able to find were nails, bottle caps, and sparkler rods but I was happy to get those off the beach so nobody steps on them. It is definitely a budget model, no bells and whistles, but good enough for something different to do on the beach other than tanning yourself.

Great metal detector!
I bought this metal detector for my parents and they love it! They live on a lake and they use it along the shoreline and at the beach and it works great. Highly recommend this product. It's been a big hit amongst our entire family!

great for beginners.
This was a father's day gift for my husband. He's been asking for one forever. He is a novice and is just starting into the hobby. It is perfext for him. I'm sure we will upgrade once he gets a little more experienced and finds something of value. Right now he's exploring our backyard and the beaches so it is definitely doing its job of keeping him busy and out of the house.

i bought 3 metal detectors before this one and returned everyone of them. they ranged from 130.00 to 150.00 $ and they were all junk compared this unit seems to work well and do its job

Loving this!
Loving this - didn’t realize how much fun it would be. Bought this metal detector kit for my father he just retired, as a retirement gift but we have been having using it ourselves. Also bought another for my son so they can do a grandpa/grandson special bonding.

Don't be fooled by the $399 MSRP that is crossed out. This is not a $400 Metal Detector. It is a lower end good value though.
