Columbia Women's Lay 'D' Down Vest

I had my heart set on a North Face vest, but after purchasing one, I wasn't happy with the fit. So, after returning the North Face vest I had admired for so long, I did some research and came across this Columbia Lay D Down vest. I must say I am extremely happy with it! I love how you can change up the look by taking the hood on and off and the fur on and off. The cut is flattering around the waste and hips. (It hits lower on the hip than the North Face Bella Luna vest did, which I much prefer). Sizing runs a bit small. I usually wear a small/medium, but needed a large in this vest to have room for layering. The velcro is loud when you un-attach it (to be expected), but overall, I am very happy with this vest. Oh, and it's definitely as warm as the North Face. Definitely recommend this vest! It's stylish and functional.

I bought this to wear snowboarding and for casual wear. For snowboarding, I wore it over a base layer and under a shell jacket. It was very warm and fitted (I am usually a size small or 6). The only problem I had with it is that I couldn't zip the zipper up the entire way so I had to wear a neck warmer (or I could have worn a balaclava). The fur on the hood is removable and so is the hood. The inside of the vest is shiny silver. I liked this vest because it is not too sporty looking (like the puffy quilted vests tend to look like) so I can wear it with nice jeans or sweatpants.

I got this last night and I'm in love. It's perfect for the not cold enough weather to wear a jacket and not warm enough weather to just be. It's SO WARM! I've never owned anything made by Columbia before and I have to say the construction and durability is top notch, definitely worth the money. I anticipate this lasting forever!I bought a small (wear a size 6) and can say that this will fit with a light shirt/sweater underneath. If you wish to wear anything thicker you will want a medium.

this was suposed to be a pratical vest for me when i'am at SCHOOL !!!.....But instead it was a fake and for that I’m very disappointed!!! This is not as warm as the ones that ive seen at the store, looks and buttons are different too for the same vest a name brand store!!Im very upset for the money that I spent for the vest its not what I wanted. THE SUPOSID OMNI-HEAT REFLECTION TECH. WAS FAKE IT SAYS (PATTERNPENDING ) ON THE INSIDE THE BUTTTONS DO NOT HAVE COLUMBIA LOGO ON THEM, NOT UP TO PAR WITH ANYTHING COLUMBIA !!! BUT NOW ITS TOO LATE AND THE TAGS ARE OFF AND CANNOT RETURN IT !!! I THINK anyone buying Columbia lay d vest should buy it but CHECK IT TO MAKE SURE ITS REAL…..BEFORE ITS TOO LATE TO RETURN IT 

I just got this vest in the mail and it was a little large, but i guess its good for layering! I instantly felt the warmth and i love that you can take off the fur or the hood all together. So cute i love it!

Bought this vest as a gift for my wife to replace an old, faded one. She immediately fell in love with it. The fit is perfect, it looks very stylish and, most importantly, keeps her very warm. She especially loves the fur on the hood as well as the option to remove the hood completely.IF you are looking for a vest that need to be both stylish but warm, try this one out.

Very nice vest, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the velcro can be annoying. If the vest is not fully zippered and velcro not connected; it sticks to sweaters.

Warm without the bulk. Fits true to size perfectly. I usually wear a S but my daughter bought an XS and I thought I could get by with that size so we could share but after trying the S, I knew why I needed it. It was just a little longer and not too tight when zipped.

Quality item. Well made. Warm for when you need it and smart to wear. A perfect white shade for summer evenings.

El chaleco es muy chulo y queda muy bien puesto. La calidad de los materiales es buenísima. Me resulta muy cómodo de llevar en general pero mi experiencia es que, con el forro tan especial que lleva, si hace frio no te calienta (aunque no pase el frio) y si hace un poco de calor sudas y te quedas mojada por dento. En este aspecto me ha decepcionado un poco...

Ich habe die Weste jetzt beinah 2 Jahre und trage diese im Herbst und Frühling fast täglich.Ich bin mit der Qualität der Ware sehr zufrieden. Die Weste ist sehr warm und eignet sich hervorragend aus Übergangslösung im Herbst und im Frühling. Der Stoff ist sehr weich und angenehm zu tragen. Die Weste ist atmungsaktiv und eignet sich auch gut beim Sport (Wandern).Minuspunkt sehe ich jedoch bei der Reinigung. Die Weste besteht aus hochwertigen Daunen und muss professionell gereinigt werden. Aufgrund der hellen Farbe ist die Reinigung mind. 1 mal monatlich nötig. Für die professionelle Reinigung zahle ich ca. 18 Euro pro Waschgang. Die Reinigung zu Hause ist in meinem Fall kaum möglich, ich besitze keinen Wäschetrockner. Beim trocknen an der Frischen Luft verkleben die Daunen schnell und verbleiben so.

Ich hin absolut begeistert von dieser Weste! Ich habe sie schon in weiß und bin überglücklich das ich jetzt auch eine schwarze habe! Der Rücken ist immer warm durch die spezielle Einlage! Einfach nur sensationell! Ich hatte noch nie eine vergleichbar gute Qualität! Preis Leistung absolut top! Wer also nicht mehr frieren möchte sollte sich solch eine Weste anlegen! Die Investition lohnt sich auf jedenfall!
