Perfect for age-deniers. Laughs and more laughs!
Gave this to my 68 yo father for a retirement gift. Needless to say, he's entertained... and so is my 7 yo who immediately taught him how to armpit fart. #proudmom How did he not know how to armpit fart? #disappointeddaughterThe cover is a canvas material and more of a spiral binding - sort of like a handbook. I guess I think it gives a sort of formal likeness to the collection of juvenile suggestions. This will be one that gets passed around and likely fought over at holidays. We're a family of age-deniers!

I thought it was hilarious
I purchased this book for my 10-year old son at Christmas. He is more into video games and electronic devices, and I really wanted to get him into some other activities. He is a prankster and likes to joke around a lot, I thought this book would be perfect. I tried to get him to read it several times and he just was not interested. I ended up reading through it and I thought it was hilarious. There are many amusing things in here that aren't really meant to be tried but are funny to read about. Other things give step-by-step instructions and full color photos that make it easy to understand. I enjoyed it greatly and my 9 yr old daughter now has it in her room and uses it all the time.

Slightly regrettable
My daughter bought this for a friend for her birthday, and when we saw one at a local bookstore, I made the mistake of purchasing it without looking through it much. My ten year old daughter and her friends love it, but I have to warn other parents and nearby adults: it can be incredibly irritating. It's full of pranks and gross things kids love, and random facts. Just overall a fun kids' book, but as an adult who has been hearing about its content for months on end, I wish I'd distracted her and bought something else instead!

Ingenuity
This was purchased for my grandson for reading at school . I cannot remember why he wanted it - whether or not it was required or he just heard about it. I DID NOT read it, but thumbed through it. He enjoyed it and read the entire book - I think that he may have put another smaller book inside it to read when he was in class and felt the title would keep the teacher at bay.

Great item for a conversation!
I honestly thought it would be an insult to give it to your boss but I DID IT! I was afraid he would get a little offended but soon as he opened it, he was laughing. He is a total prankster and he likes "FUN". He even pulls back once in a while and says that he's got to mature. But that is what I love in him. He dishes out and will take getting it back. He totally loves the book! My only negative is it seems too short for reading because you want more.

Interesting read
Bought this for my 13 year old daughter. She enjoyed flipping through it and reading parts of it, although it didn't hold her attention for long. My husband and I spent more time flipping through it and trying out some of the tricks than she did. Overall it was a cute book and would make a nice gift for someone young at heart with a good sense of humor.

So Much Fun, Makes a Great Gift for Older Grade-Schoolers
I bought this gift originally for my son, who was in fourth grade at the time. He absolutely loved it, and still reads through it all the time even a year later. He loved this book so much that I started buying it for birthday gifts for the other boys his age, and they've all absolutely loved it too. I know because I hear them talking about it, discussing the fun, jokey things the book contains.I think I've bought about five of these so far, and I've been glad I did. There's also a sequel to this book that was also a big hit with my son and his friends.

lots of fun ideas
Lots of fun ideas of things you and your kid(s) can do together. Your kid(s) can learn new things or experiment on their own, and they should - but I'd recommend doing at least some activities together. Most are simple and require little time. Working on fun things even for a few minutes each day really helps us connect more closely. Many of the activities are educational, although most of just simply interesting, thought-provoking, neat, and very often silly. Silly is good - for both kids and adults. We all need a dash of silliness in our lives, and this book provides it.

Great Fun, lots to do
I bought this for my 11yr old Grandson and had a quick read through. I think the whole family will get great fun from this book, I found it absolutely hilarious, so I don't know what that says about me! I was actually thinking that even my 15yr old Granddaughter would enjoy it.
