Hammond B-3 Organ & Leslie 122/147 Easy Improvement and Restoration Tips for NON Technicians

This book is well-written, but it really doesn't meet the needs of someone, like me, who wants to fix the Hammonds that he owns. (I have two B3s and it is not easy to find techs to work on these any more). I read the entire book and it seems to me mostly to consist of electronic upgrades. There doesn't seem to be any material on the mechanical aspects of Leslie cabinets and how to repair or service them. The book is VERY expensive- I suppose this is a function of the limited readership a book like this would enjoy- and did not meet my needs. I hope at some point to recoup some of the value in the book by upgrading my two Hammonds with some of the projects in the book, but for now it is pretty much a dead loss. What the world needs is a good general service manual for Hammond tonewheel organs. Sort of a "How To Service Your Hammond and Leslie, A Manual For The Compleat Idiot". The search goes on.

I purchased this to assist me with My B3/122 Leslie maintenance and repair. All black and with poorly reproduce illustrations...some unintelligible and particularly when the text refers to a colored component in the B&W illustration. Returned it for a refund! The descriptions are false and not to be relied upon.
