ZULU Turbo Glass Shaker Bottle with Silicone Sleeve

I love, love, love this product! It is strong, durable, ridiculously easy to clean (by hand, we don't have a dishwasher), and then silicone outer layer hasn't stretched out or became brittle. I don't typically use the shaker part inside and it's not needed, but I did clean up well the one time I forgot to take it out. There were no after smells of what was in there after I cleaned it.Love this product! Ill probably be ordering another one!

This is a great, if a little heavy, protein shaker. Despite being glass, the silicone cover absorbs impact and makes it surprisingly sturdy. I'm not gentle with it. I clip it to a carabiner on my bag and drag it around everywhere at work, and it holds up just fine. It cleans easily, too, and being glass, doesn't retain off flavors. Great product.

So went in skeptical cause everyone said there's no blender ball. My name with the basket and a ball. So far so good the silicon prob won't last long but rest seems fine.Alright originally 5 stars but, I'm taking one away. It's still good bit doesn't seem to seal well at the mouth piece, and the cap doesn't open back far enough so it kinda gets in the way.

This shaker bottle is so awesome. The plastic shell keeps the glass very safe, I’ve Even dropped it on a hard floor. I don’t use the ball, but the geometry of the glass and the fact it is glass makes mixing really easy. No leaking at all, which is a first ever with a shaker bottle for me.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would!!!!! This is the ABSOLUTE BEST shaker bottle in the market. Super easy to clean, excellent durable quality and functional design. Wish I would’ve known about this product sooner, stop wasting your money on those crappy wire metal shakers and get yourself one of these babies. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

I use this product daily for my morning protein shake and love it. It cleans easy, but I have small hand and can get completely inside the bottle to clean it. I love that it is glass because it doesn’t stain like plastic bottles or pick up weird smells. It’s my second one because I broke the first one when I was washing it and hit it against the cast iron sink in my kitchen. I hit the rim hard and it broke off. I still love glass over plastic any day. I have their water bottle also.

Pros -1. Dropped many times and still going.2. Glass water bottle with no odors added or taken away from water3. Can drink quickly from and pretty easy.4. Sleeve helps grip it well.5. Can clip to backpack or hang on with your finger easily to the ring.Cons -1. The Lid that seals opening you drink out of is easy to break (both of mine broke falling on lid but still work more or less)2. The rubber that seals the hole you drink out of develops black bacteria that is impossible to remove with scrubbing and soaking in bleach all night. Almost need to have a few replacement rubbers for every month or so of daily use. And when you are drinking water I have the rubber seal if not turned slightly rest on my forehead multiple times, which is kind of annoying when wet and can be a real issue to some people.3. I don't think the measuring lines are really accurate. I put in 8 ounces of water from a measuring cup and it was almost 9 ounces in water bottle. So you might think you are drinking more than you are.4. The shaker insert and the inside of the lid gets coated rather quickly with residue and is a pain to clean. I ended up letting our puppy have the shaker insert as a chew toy. And found keeping the water bottle clean is so much easier except the part on the inside of the lid the insert attaches to. Have only cleaned by hand though so maybe cleaning in a dishwasher would avoid some issues?5. The Rubber grip on outside of water bottle spins because it fits rather loosely and am constantly having to adjust in order to see the inaccurate measurements.6. Have to really tighten to keep from leaking then it is hard to unscrew the whole lid when filling with powders and you need to keep a finger on the seal for the opening otherwise it might pop out while shaking (if you shake violently like I do) And a side note - A few times at night when I filled my water bottle to the brim of the rubber seal, the water will expand as it warms up and POP open scaring me half to death and flinging a few drops of water (which landed on me once) making it hard to sleep for awhile as you can imagine lol.Over all I give it a three star because I am amazed at how long I have had the blue and grey/green water bottles (getting close I think to two years) and have had no issues with the Glass part of this water bottles (except the inaccurate measuring lines and rubber outside grip covering the lines). I have used one or the other every day. If used only for water without mixing other stuff I might have rated it 4 stars, but the mixing part I would rate 2 stars because of the issues with the lid and insert and having to clean each time and the pain of cleaning. I am going to try the 26 ounce and 20 ounce sport Zulu Water bottles now to see if they are any better and will try to review those next year after awhile of use.

This is a well made shaker bottle. It’s definitely very sturdy. It heavy for a shaker bottle, but that should be expected since it’s made out of glass. But I no longer smell odors in my shaker bottle which I love! No more after taste from previous pre-workouts I’ve used. Thank you for this great product!!

great shaker bottle, I use it for BCAA (with different flavors), for a couple of years, for this reason I was looking for a glass bottle so that there was no smell left. the glass is thick enough, easy to clean, fits perfectly in my hand (even if I have a small hand), of course, heavier than plastic, but this is normal for a glass bottle. the bottle does not slip in the hand due to the rubberized cover; it fell several times, but did not break or crack I am very pleased. bought 2 different colors, for my sis and myself .

Great shaker!

Very durable no issues after 1 year of daily use. I take smoothies,shakes or water everyday to gym and work, I refill it with water constantly at work and never had any leaks or issues. If I have to nitpick the only thing I would change is making the glass mouth bigger so you could fit your hand with a sponge to wash it easier.. but I bought a special bottle sponge to clean the bottle thoroughly after I figured out theres no way to stick a hand deep in there to wash with a traditional sponge.
