Ello Kella Glass Tumbler with Straw

I really love the overall design of this jar. It's stylish, easy to drink from, and relatively easy to clean. I know other people have complained about the press-fit lid not staying put, but I've owned two now and they both fit perfectly and stop minor spills if it gets knocked over or something.There are a couple really annoying design flaws that I wish the company would fix, especially the stickers that come attached to the glass and are impossible to remove. I've even tried using Goo Gone and other harsh chemicals, and literally nothing seems to get rid of the sticker residue. The lid also has a tendency to grow mold on the plastic lip, and it's impossible to remove once it's taken hold. To me, this indicates that the plastic of the lid is somewhat porous, which isn't a great design choice.

Great sipper over all. The straw has to go : ( It's a cheap plastic straw and a PITA to clean--knocking off 2 stars because of the straw, but will definitely be buying more of these because they are easily upgraded with  StrawGrace Handmade Glass Straws Clear Straight 9 in x 10 mm - 5 Pack With 2 Cleaning Brushes - Premium Glass - Healthy, Reusable, Eco Friendly, BPA Free, Very Sturdy - Milkshake and Smoothie Straws  which are the same size as the cheap plastic straw. Colleagues are impressed with it, and now that I have a matching glass straw to go with this great design... I couldn't be happier. Might upgrade to 4 stars later if I'm feeling more generous, but the product designers should have know better. The cost of the sipper is only reasonable if you don't have to buy parts for it!Update: Upping a star as this product has become a staple in my on the go drinking habits and I've order it now mulitple times. Would give 5 stars if glass were upgraded to borosillicate and the straw were glass, but this product is perfect for its design--right down to where it just fits in my car holder.

No, the lid is not meant to fit securely (it's more like a rubber plug that will keep liquid from splashing out in the car), and yes, the straw is plastic. If you're okay with those things, then this is a great cup.It holds no odors at all and the glass body and straw are dishwasher safe. I hand wash/rinse the lid because there is a layer of cork material on top, and I'm not sure how that would hold up after being soaked in water. The rubber grip around the neck of the jar is removable so you can wash underneath, if needed.The discription clearly states that the straw is plastic, and I know that plastic is susceptible to retaining odors and can have some other issues. I knew what I was getting into when I bought this jar because I, unlike some others, READ THE DESCRIPTION. Haha. When I notice lasting issues with the straw, I'll simply switch to one made of glass. So far, after daily use for over two weeks, it's doing just fine.I use this jar for my iced coffee (4 oz espresso, about 3-4 oz water, about 6 oz cold milk, ice cubes) and it works great.It's attractive, easy to carry around, affordable, and easily washable. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to everyone for casual/daily use.

I needed something that was much smaller, yet large enough to hold my green smoothie in the mornings. My “ninja travel cup” was a bit too large and very inconvenient to lug, as I’m a petite person with small hands. It was a bit hard carrying and very tiring on my hands. These bottles came in handy not only are they the perfect size, the convenience of having straws in oppose to tipping a large cup is even greater. The straws a great for smoothies as it’s wider than regular straws, and very easy to clean. An absolute great purchase.P.S I also purchased additional “BESU” reusable drinking straws to go with bottle just to add a lil fun a flair. reviews on the straws with bottles to follow.

Honestly guys, what's the point making a product for "People on the Go", when1. It doesn't fit into any standard cup holder.2. The lid keeps coming off.As cute as it looks, it is very poorly designed. Not to mention it is a harbinger of domesti dispute 🙄. My husband is now upset at me because I made him a smoothie to take to work, it didn't fit in the cup holder, lid came off, spilled all over and he was late for work. Thanks.

This cup makes me happy. I love cups/glasses..and I have everything from custom glitter tumblers to handmade ceramic mugs...but I really really like this one. I bought it for cold coffee drinks and breakfast shakes and it’s been perfect. The “cork” top does feel slightly loose, and I’m not totally sure if it will last as long as the glass will. But it’s made it through quite a few runs in the dishwasher and feels the same as when I got it. The silicone ring can come off to wash, but I haven’t had any issues with it getting yucky underneath at all since there is a glass lip at the top that keeps anything from dripping into it. I bought extra straws for it, and realized this straw is a bit thicker than your standard straw,so the little ring on straws that’s meant to keep them in the cup doesn’t work with other straws on this cup. I can still use the other straws fine, just the straw can slide out with the lid on, which hasn’t been an issue.

So I bought 2 of these, and one of them is my regular water bottle, I use it almost every day and everywhere I go I get compliments on it! it really is beautiful and so classy looking. But the 2nd bottle I shattered almost right after buying, it was sitting on my nightstand and I pushed it off by accident (about a 2 feet drop onto hardwood) and it broke into these HUGE shards of glass, big pieces that though made it less of a mess to clean up I can't help but think about how if it broke around kids or pets someone might be injured, so keep that in mind if you plan to get this item. That being said I still use the other one regularly and I have 2 other water bottles from this brand that have been great and none of the others have broke yet.

Great reusable bottle for iced coffee or tea! Normal disposable plastic straws are not recyclable. I’m happy this is a great alternative. This bottle is easy to clean. Clean the straw by pouring out soapy water from the bottle through the straw, rinse thoroughly. I suggest getting a straw cleaner wand, it makes cleaning so much easier.Update, months later: if a pesky pet knocks the bottle onto the kitchen floor and it cracks, the plastic lid can fit nicely into the opening of a 24oz glass mason jar.

I purchased this to go on my desk at work and it's perfect for that purpose.PROS:- Colour is really nice, a little bit more green than the pictures- The straw is nice and wide- Perfect sizeCONS:- Lid doesn't seal securely - this is no big deal since I'm not carrying the bottle around- The cork in the lid might be a problem for cleaning

I love this water glass! It's made me drink a lot more water lately, just because it's so cute and easy to carry around. It fits in my car's cup holder perfectly. The lid does not have a strong hold, but since there's a hole in the lid for a straw, I'm not planning on throwing this in a bag anyways so I'm not concerned about that. I love that I can throw the body in the dishwasher - I haven't tried the straw in there yet but it seems pretty durable. The lid I will only hand wash because of the cork detail - a minor nuisance but it makes the cup so cute I don't mind! I have used this for grabbing cold beverages at Starbucks to save on single-use plastic cups and it is fabulous for this. Iced drinks will lead to condensation on the outside of the glass, but this is to be expected with any material that is not double-walled.For the price, you can't go wrong here!

Picked this up for my GF for christmas. The price is great for this glass bottle. Very sturdy and good construction. Easy to use your own steel straw if you wanted. I wish the top was more secure, it sort of just slides in. I was hoping it screwed on - my fault for not looking at the description more carefully. Will still keep it because it's a great glass bottle for water, iced coffee, etc. GF loves it so far.
