I got this right after I had surgery a few months ago and it worked perfectly.I put it together by myself, very simple, although I thiiink I remember ignoring the instructions because they were confusing?It's also very lightweight, but felt plenty sturdy overall, even when I used it as a brace to stand up and get out (and to keep from falling once).Fit in our tub/shower just fine. Can't remember exact dimensions but I got this one specifically because I knew it would fit. If your tub width is smaller than dimensions listed it may not work. Maybe an inch less is all I'd risk, especially if you have a fairly rounded bottom like ours. Also fairly easy to adjust.My one star off from the sturdiness aspect is that it may be a good idea to regularly check tightness of hardware. I used it quite heavily though, especially as I gained mobility I moved it around a fair amount, and not very gently. It's sturdy enough for regular sitting and like I said above it kept me stable when I slipped. Just don't forget to check fastenings occasionally.Oh and for reference if anyone needs, I'm 5ft and weighed about 135 lbs when I started using it.

Took awhile to assemble because serrated washer for Nylock bolt that fastens the legs to the seat was not included. Without the serrated washer, the chair felt like a tilt-a-whirl seat in an amusement park.The manual and manufacturer's website have no information on replacement parts, no email address, and no phone number. Once I went out and bought a washer, it assembled easily, and it works very well.

This thing has to be the biggest piece of junk ever!! First of all, the assembly was extremely difficult to do. Secondly once it was assembled, it did not feel sturdy at all. And last but not least, I couldn't even sit in the shower chair because the seat was so small.

At first I loveddded this. By this I mean the first minute. This is so unstable it has almost come out and slipped from underneath me. I would not recommend this. It’s pretty dangerous in my opinion.

I purchased this to help in the shower while my son recovered from ACL surgery. This chair worked great as it was a big help during showers and also stayed in place well. It's adjustable he's 6ft 195 and worked well for what we got it for.

My husband is not anywhere near the 300lbs this is rated for. The minute he sat the screws loosened, the legs wobbled and he almost went over and broke his other ankle.

I broke my hip and needed a shower seat. This one is sturdy, and well priced. Arrived in time for my first home shower! It does not slide, so I will keep it in my bathroom forever!

This bench is the best. Adjustable height and waterproof. Broke my foot and this was the best alternative for showers. I still use it in my jacuzzi and when I’m looking for a sit in the show. Has held up fantastic, no rust, no signs of wear. Get it 👍🏼 I’m 190lbs and it could easily hold two of me.
