Burgoyne Handmade All Occasion Greeting Card Collection

I bought this for a friend that was having a birthday. The box itself is very beautiful and was I happy when she opened it and I got to look at all the cards. Each card is wrapped individually, so they are in perfect condition. All the cards are very unique and are far nicer than so many cards in the store that you would pay double or more for. The box has dividers in it so you can keep the occasions separated and even comes with a little book to write the different birthdays, etc. down. I will be ordering this again, because the price and the product are perfectly wonderful!

I relocated over 2000 miles from all my relatives. When I lived nearby, we would have birthday lunches and give presents. Now that I live so far, I try to make sure I plan ahead and send each of them a card in the mail with a gift card. This is a perfect collection to show them that I'm thinking about them on their special day. All the cards are very beautiful, and while I don't see myself using a few of them, as long as I use 3-4, I've already saved money over the store prices. These cards remind me of the Papyrus brand which generally sells for $6+/per card. I do wish they would've included more Thank you cards since I do like to make sure I write lots of Thank you notes to show my appreciation for what others do.I am already considering buying another one of the Burgoyne boxes after just receiving this one in the mail. I'm so excited to use them.As a side note, I have not yet confirmed this, but I believe these cards may need a 2nd stamp to send since they are a little more bulky. I will take one by the post office to verify and update my review as soon as I find out.

This package of cards is great if you are looking for an assortment for all ages. I, however, felt as though there were too many cards geared towards children. I purchase sets of all occasion cards mostly to give to adults so that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. However, the cards are very well made and truly unique-Much better than some other all occasion card sets that you purchase that seem cheap. These are well worth the money and much less expensive than buying individual cards in the store. There is a good variety (15 birthday, 3 blank, 2 new baby, 1 get well, 1 congratulations, 1 thank you, 1 sympathy, 1 wedding).

I was leery about this purchase. I am picky about cards. They are either too cute, too sappy or just cheap. I also didn't think that I would ever use have half the box. These cards are fantastic! Well constructed and tastefully embellished, they have simple messages that are not sappy, 'funny', curt or specific. The first week I had them I needed one get well card for a teddy bear lover - boom there it was! The next week I needed a sympathy card and found a perfect selection. I've used half the box in three months and would love replacements from the same collection. My 28 year old nephew came over and raved about the cards. Any product that can appeal to a father of three and a 50 year old artist has all my votes. More please.

The total cost for each card comes to a little over a dollar each and they come in super cute box that will last forever (matching card dividers included, and there is also a little booklet, with helpful lists and month/day pages to keep track of birthdays. The cards themselves are super-cute. They have handmade and thoughtful feel to them. I will say that most of the birthday cards are obviously directed for kids, but there are classy, more grown up cards included as well. Overall, this is a far better deal than trying to buy cards one at a time from a supermarket or store, and they are much cuter than most cards that are sold at the store! (No trashy "humor" cards in this set)

The collection is beautiful and exceeded my expectations - as a mothers day gift my mother-in-law was truly excited to receive them

I should have paid more attention to the other reviews because they were right. I doubt I'll use many of these cards cause they are kinda childish. They are nicely done just not what I wanted.

Some of these are so cute! And others... are not. There's about two elegant birthday cards. The rest are geared towards a playful tone. Think about your audience before you get this. If you are someone that finds cards that exactly match your sentiment towards the person... the kind of stuff that moves your recipient to tears because it hits the nail on the head, a box of cards is not your thing. This is geared more towards people that like to "check the box" and get away with it... Birthday card? Sent. I ended up giving my male supervisor a thank you card with caged birds (obviously intended for a feminine audience), when he is better suited for a football themed thank you card. That is pretty awkward.It is highly convenient and good to have on hand for those days you need a card and don't have time to stop and get one. It contains mostly birthday cards. I wish it had more Thank You cards and blanks... minus one point.
