Q: Will this kill water meal on an almost 1 ac pond ?

It should. It does a great job on duckweed. Make sure you use a surfactant. I usely mix a little copper sulfate with mine to make it more potent. I've used about everything made and this definitely works the best/cheapest on duckweed and I believe duckweed and water meal are similar. Good luck.

This chemical is for surface application directly to the weed with a surfactant. It works fantastic on Duckweed. I recommend using it as soon as duckweed appears and just on the duckweed. Use as often as needed. That's how I use it. It's works great and doesn't cost a fortune. I mix 1-2 cups in a 4 gallon spayer for a pond that's 3/4 of an acre surface area. The quicker you use it when duckweed appears the less you need.
