I have not been paid for this review.Modified December 28, 2015 from what was originally listed below.This item worked for a few weeks, then I was no longer able to sync it to my devices. I tried three different devices. In each case, Bluetooth pairing failed.I threw this one in the garbage and ordered a UE BOOM instead. I will review it after I have had it awhile.This is a fantastic speaker for the money. I use it in the bathroom while showering/shaving. It's LOUD! That's exactly what I wanted, so I could hear my terribly quiet iPhone playing music. It is easy to setup, pairs automatically and quickly, The sound is fine, as long as you're not an audiophile. The only reason I knocked the review down to four stars is due to the length of time the speaker will play before needing recharging. It will play for a "few hours." Not a big deal, just know that the time to listen is not "infinite."

I have only used this speaker about 15 times, and have always liked the Sound quality. But today, I want to use it in the plug in the power and it broke. In plugging in the power cord the female receiving dock just fell into the inside of the speaker. Now it’s useless. So bummed. In addition it does have an annoying connection volume. When you first turned it on, it announces in a VERY loud voice that it’s on and connecting to your phone. Wish there was a way to turn that down.

I Returned it twice, the first one sent had peeling paint with exposed rust spots. the USB charger was bent and i got "power overload" message on my computer when charging. However, It did connect easily to my iphone 6. Customer service was great and replaced it ASAP. They sent me another one with good paint and charged normally, but would NOT connect with my iphone 6. I tried powering both devices on/off several times. no luck! Hopefully number 3 will work

I need 2 speakers for the iPads my husband and I have. When I purchased this one I also bought the Etekcity RoverBeats T3 Ultra Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, CSR 4.0. Haven't had them very long but this one has a couple of obvious issues I faced taking it out of the box.The cord provided to charge did not fit, the usb mini side is too small. I tried several times, then stopped because I was afraid of breaking it. I found an old phone charger with a slightly larger usb mini and it fit! So I was able to charge it once I provided my own cord.Each time you turn the speaker on announcements are made that are at top volume. No possible way to sneak up on anybody without making a full proclamation of what you just pulled out of your purse! Yes, mug me now I have an iPad an portable speaker! If you're wanting to show grandma a video, just prepare yourself for a trip to the emergency room after the heart attack it will give her. I'm glad I paired it with my husband's iPad although I don't think he'll be pleased about that.I do like its compact size and it seems like a solidly built speaker. After using the other speaker for a few weeks, I'll write a review about it also. I haven't run into any challenges with that one compared to this one so far.

Nice quality all around, the only problem for me is that the volume control will not produce a volume low enough for an office environment. We can have a player on our desk, but its volume must not be heard beyond our carrel area (no headphones allowed). It's impossible to get the volume on this MP3 to go low enough so only I can hear it. I do realize blasting volume is the trend right now, so I'll have to keep looking for an MP3 that will whisper not shout.

This speaker quality is surprisingly excellent for its 2 inch height. Really powerful bass! It paired via Bluetooth to all my devices easily. It is so small and portable, it makes it very easy to put it anywhere for music. It also has a nice bonus SD card slot for MP3, when not using Bluetooth. The construction is solid and the base has a nice rubber grip to prevent sliding around.I originally bought this for hands-free calling, and for some reason, there was a faulty mic on this particular one. I contacted customer care and got excellent hassle-free and prompt response for a replacement. The care I received was above-and-beyond, which provided me confidence and trust in this company's name. I would not hesitate to buy from this company if they offer other products I can use in the future.

AWESOME!! You can only pair to one device at a time, but you can also put in an sd card and play in addition to being able to take calls. This is my first BT speaker and I am super impressed. I even put it up on a shelf in the corner of the room to really make the most of it. Nice and heavy, great quality. ONLY suggestion is to make the voice on it quieter! His volume resumes when you turn off the speaker.

It works. It's pretty easy to figure out. This is good because the instruction booklet is in super tiny print. It's wonderful you can put it in the tiny box along with the speaker but my old eyes can't read it.Also the voice announcing that the speaker is on and connected is super loud. I adjust the volume via my phone so the speaker volume is pretty high.
