Is it tough enough
So many questions about how hard is it to break. Well it does have a slight wear in period, but I didn't notice a huge change in difficulty. If you have never broken boards I wouldn't start with this one. Not that you can't do it, but the padding is thin and you will get sore knuckles since you are not used to it, which may turn you away. If you drop a 20lb plate on edge from 1 ft above the board it will break it. Also mine was kinda yellowish and not really white like the picture shows. Handles are so super handy

Good practice board but NOT FOR KIDS
These are not for kid use. I bought these so my son could practice board breaking. He has a hard time breaking it. The boards used for kids are easier to break because they are thin. This is a good board but maybe for older kids and adults. I can break it with full strikes fairly easily. btw my son is 9 and working on his purple belt.

Good for beginners
Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this rebreakable board as I had no previous experience with them. This was for our grandson who is 5 years old. When it first arrived it was a bit 'stiff'. After breaking it a few times it loosened up and became easier to use. Our grandson loves practicing with it and the handles make it easier for me to hold while keeping my fingers out of the way of his kicks. We've seen a bit of wear on the foam covering - not bad - overall it is holding up well to an energetic youngster.

This product was exactly what was expected. It was delivered in a timely manner. It would have been a bonus if the description of the product clearly indicated that there were different strengths of boards for different levels of students. Then we would have known if we wanted to purchase this particular strength or not.

Great for kids!
I bought the red one for my eight-year-old son who loves all things karate. I wasn't surprised that he was obsessed with it! It was hard to break for a few weeks, so this got him a little discouraged. However, it loosened up as time went on. Months later, it breaks so easily that we will probably get another one at some point. Lots of fun in the meantime!

Picture is not what you get
I bought the red & black boards as a gift for my club. They are nice and work well. My only comment is they don't look like the picture. The boards have large handles on either side. Although this makes them easier to hold, it doesn't train the board holder how to properly hold a board. I ordered these specifically because they were pictured without handles. Oh well, they are still lots of fun and I am sure everyone will enjoy them.

Spent a lot of time trying to figure out which one to get for my son, 8 years old, a tall and lanky 60lbs. I finally decided on the blue. Ended up being disappointed. He breaks it pretty easily with all of his breaks, palm, fist, hammer, kicks are even easier. The 6 year old neighbor girl whom isn't in martial arts does have a really hard time breaking it. So this board is suited for someone in that age range. I should have gone with my gut and gotten the black board.I also had similar experiences with the foam padding peeling off as other reviewers have mentioned. Also, compared to the rebreakable boards my son uses in his martial arts class, this is a lot harder to reassemble. Not an aweful produce, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Solid product
So far, so good- had it for a few days - first few breaks with the kids (5 - 12) have gone well. Was a little tough to put back together, but once I figured it out - it's easy.Only issue is that the blue padding can peel up pretty easily at the corners - happened on the first time I put the board back together. but after pressing the pad back down, it's remained on.
