Absolutely life changing for me. I’ve had chronic back pain for years for different reasons, and since getting this on Sunday, I was able to go without painkillers for the first time in weeks/months. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not pain-free, but I can actually move fairly normally (when I’m wearing it) without constant problems. It doesn’t replace physio work and exercises, but really supports the back in every day life and alleviates the constant debilitating pain that makes even simple things seem impossible. I can sneeze without having to grab something to hold on to first ...! I have noticed how much I am slouching when I take the brace off, and the pain comes back very quickly, so it’s definitely something to discuss with your GP/physio if you are under care for back problems and introducing this as an aid, just to be certain you’re using it in the most effective way.

1. The belt is NOTHING like the picture.2. There are no instructions with it, not even when or how to wash it.3. It's TINY. Trying to put it on caused me more pain & had me back in bed for 2 days.Now having look for another one.

This has literally given me my life back! I suffered a herniated disc months ago and have had weeks off work and been in absolute agony with resulting acute sciatica. With the support of this back brace I have managed two weeks back at work almost pain free apart from a slight ache in my back and leg. I could not get through the day before and now I am managing full time at work and to do a full supermarket shop. I highly recommend this to anyone with bad back issues, the support is spot on.

Given the belt 3 stars because it seems like quite a decent quality belt ...IF... the seller had given an accurate size guide. As you can see from the photo, the size for a medium on the internal packaging is actually that for a size large. I have no idea where the seller got their sizing but clearly not from this product.These belts are supposed to be warn tight in order to support the back & as someone who's had several over the last 25 years, I know they also give a little once warn & washed so accurate sizing is important. I was already on the cusp between a small (which doesn't actually exist) & a medium from website sizes so I am having to return it, which is frustrating, (especially for someone with chronic back pain).

So pleased with this, put my back out 5 times last year trying to do my garden, this year hurt my back again so brought this not only was it great for when my back was healing but I’ve manage to do garden with it on And can now lift and work like I used to be able too, got my youth back lol, so good I recommend it to my mum too, great buy really recommend it to anyone with a weak back
