I was torn between this one or a competitor’s product, but after I found this one at a much better price here on Amazon it made the choice clear. I was worried I was compromising, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The install wasn’t bad at all. Lots of good videos out there that walk you right through it. Fit, finish, and ease of alignment were spot on. This sounds absolutely amazing on my 2023 RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI and I’m so glad I went with the Borla ATAK. Amazon only shows it fitting up to 2021, but it fit just fine on my 2023 4x4 Big Horn crew cab 5’ 7” bed. I will warn that it is loud, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. It’s tone is so low it sounds terrific. However, when driving sensibly it’s barely noticeable. A lot of the reviews online are of the early 5th gen RAMs with a resonator in the stock mid pipe. I’m not sure when they stopped doing that, but mine has no resonator in it so I got all the exhaust volume this system has to offer that doesn’t involve replacing the stock manifolds & converters. I’d highly recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy the sound of these last 5.7 HEMI engines before they quit making them. Additional note: the seller Performance Guarantee shipped sooner than expected, product was genuine in all Borla packaging, and had it at a very fair price. After extensive research I decided to spend a little more to buy this Borla Atak for my 2023 Ram 1500 and oh boy am I happy I did! Hands down best decision I've ever made! Nothing brought me more joy than standing behind my truck and cold starting it for the first time after install and hearing it roar. Better than the birth of my children! Lol, calm down I'm just kidding, I love my kids. But seriously, if you're on the fence about buying this, just do it! You won't regret it. Install was a breeze, everything lined up perfectly. It is loud, but it's just shy of unreasonable imo. No drone at all. Very comfortable sound level at cruising speeds. If I had to find a negative I would say the pics on the instructions are way too small and dark to use for reference. But let's face it, if you need instructions to remove a stock exhaust and install a cat back exhaust system you probably shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

This exhaust on my 2023 RAM 1500 is epic. I don’t know how else to explain it other than saying it just sounds so good. At cruising speeds it’s just enough that you notice it without it being annoying, but when you really lay on the accelerator this thing sounds mean! It was also pretty easy to install for someone who has never done this such a job before. I just backed the truck up onto vehicle ramps and chocked the front wheels and I had plenty of room. A 2nd person to assist is not necessary, but certainly made things easier. My only complaint is that no matter how hard I tried or what I did to try to correct it, the passenger side tail pipe sits a little too far to the right so it’s a little off center. I’m not saying it’s a Borla issue as it could easily be me or the exhaust hanger on the truck.

What a difference this exhaust made to my truck. Worth every cent, so quite in the cab. No droning at all but outside the truck it sounds like a beast growling

I did tons of research before choosing the Borla ATAK. I ended up deciding on Borla because each system is engineered for the vehicle it’s going on to and because of the warranty. Installation was fairly simple and the new exhaust sounds awesome. Turn eco mode off for better sound quality while cruising. The only downfall was that my left tailpipe hangs slightly lower than the right due to positioning of the hanger. Other than that, I definitely recommend this system. Well worth the money!

It sounds great. It does not drone at all. It was a pretty simple install, plenty of youtube videos on how to install it and good instructions. I would recommend going this route over the original way I went if you're looking for an exhaust. Don't do it this way - I replaced the muffler with a flowmaster and then removed the two resonators from near the exhaust tips, it sounded good, but droned horribly, was louder, and eventually rusted out in two years. I should have gotten the borla from the start. Great sound with no drone. Highly recommended.

This exhaust sounds AWESOME!!! I love it amazing deep growl to it cold starts are wicked and when you get on it it sounds unreal and absolutely no drone at all wouldn’t even know you have a louder exhaust on the highway until you punch it lol! The sound is so good it makes ya smile everytime you drive it i find myself not even listening to music at times lol! had to re-tighten the clamps after one winter of driving but it might be me who didn't clamp them down enough during the install, love the product, took about 1 hour to install on a neighbours lift (much easier then on the ground). Overall very happy with the product and install instructions.

It does sound great. The idle sounds like you got a little cam installed. All rpms under load sound good until it shifts quick then it sounds like a fart. Not as loud as expected but still pretty decent. Not worth $1400 in my opinion. Install was simple easy but one tip did not line up easy had to do some modifications. And yes I did everything right. (Red seal heavy equipment technician for those wondering)

Exhaust came in borla packing. AWE RETURN was written on top of box. Inside box is some knockoff exhaust with tons of dings dents and scratches. 2k for a borla exhaust and the only thing borla was the 2nd hand box. Not impressive definitely refunding lol
