I knit and crochet, and weave...especially since I retired a few years ago. Many years ago I discovered knooking, it's like a crochet hook but the other end has a hole in it like a big oversized yarn needle. The first ones I got came with a bit of satin type cord that went in the hole and you'd do crochet type stitches then hold the stitches on the statin cord to make it look like knitting.. REALLY handy when doing hats or circle type projects and not have to use double pointed knitting needles! Well the knook hooks I bought many years ago I have used a lot. The satin cord just wore out, got old and frayed. I couldn't find any to replace it and I especially wanted different COLOR options. When I found this batch of satin cords I was so excited and bought them. OH my they work so well. I can measure out how much I need, shorter or longer, and a contrasting colors. They WORKED perfectly and I am VERY pleased with them. Probably not the same use others may have found for the cords but gosh they were a life saver for me! GOOD value and well made. I cut the size I need and used a bit of heat to fuse the ends so they didn't fray out, works great! I have shared this with many of my crafty friends who do similar projects and have shared portions of my satin cords, when someone needed just a few inches for their projects. I am very happy with my purchase and so glad to have found these. I have plenty but if I EVER need to get more, would again purchase from this same vendor. I used this for bracelets and its great quality! definitely you can melt the nylon strings together over a small lighter.AND BAM twi colorful strings!! Definitely recommend 👌

Great first sensory issues if you like to braid but you can't stand the texture of him or nylon this is a very soft string easy to use not too thick I like the knot size
