Hitec RCD HS-7115TH High Voltage, Titanium Gear Slim Wing Servo

This one was a perfect fit for my 1:10 scale RC car! (Hosim X07) - I was looking for a servo with a good amount of torque and this was exactly what I needed! Plenty of power; Metal Gears for durability; A tiny fraction of a slower swing than the original servo, but I absolutely don’t even notice it! - I would say the price point for this one was a bit more than I originally intended to spend, but honestly, after having gone through two replacements at half the cost; finding a servo that performs this well AND fits the criteria of strength and compact size I needed; I would say the price point was well worth it for me! - Easy to install and functioned perfectly out of the box! - 10/10 would get this again!

Work great so far.

Replaced a pair of old Hitec servos that was loosing there centering. New servos works great and was a drop in replacement. The servo wire length is shorter than my old Hitec was and just barely worked in my aileron application.

I cut the mounting tabs off, cut three of the four arms off of the plastic mounting bracket that comes on it and took it one of the screws in the kit and put it throuh the second predriilled hole in the last remaining arm and dropped it in the Losi Micro T as part of an upgrade to 2.4 ghz and brushless. The screw fit perfectly in the steering drag link and I got full range of steering. I set the servo end points on the transmitter and set the speed to 100%. I’ve Got great fats steering. Amazing. Way better than the analog plastic jr sport servo Losi recommends for the conversion.

The servos have very little center 'slop' and are powerful for the size, but the centering (the ability of the servo to return to the same place) is not very good. It's not bad, but I want better. Of course I'm comparing to $100 servos and those are wonderful. These, for $32 or so, are decent. I will not purchase again due to centering. The lack of centering, coming back to the same place it starts from (the center) means the airplane seems to have trim problems when flying level. They are not bad, but as said, I know there is better out there, and I'll pay for it. The torque is decent (50oz-in).
