These poly cut blades last just as long as the Stihl 12-pack that is sold at most service departments and farm stores. The Stihl 12-pack is about $1.00 a blade, so this 100-pack is about 1/3 the price. I always have them soaking in water, so I don't know how long they last just straight out of the bag, but I have been extremely pleased with the price and durability of these. I go through about 60-75 blades per year anywhere from light trimming around the house to very tall, thick grass and weeds that grow around the pasture fences.

Not as long as I wanted, but for the price they’ll work. I can’t find the longer version stihl blades anymore, I guess everyone stopped manufacturing them. These are the same size as the standard stihl polycut blades. These are not the longer version, but they will work.The problem I have with the shorter version, is that they get stuck inside the head while trimming. Maybe someone out there will read this & start manufacturing the longer blades again. If not I’m gonna start manufacturing my own.It’s weird that Stihl doesn’t even sell the longer version blades anymore either. I guess this is the size we’re all stuck with now. Just for the record, the longer blades are better.

Great product easy to install and durable

From the instant I received these I knew that these blades would not hold up as well for tough work when compared to Stihl blades. Just the sound they made when hitting each other in the bag told me they were made of a harder, more rigid plastic and that they would be more likely to shatter when striking a hard object such as a rock, fence post or heavy brush such as dried blackberry canes. Bottom line is that these are great replacement blades if the majority of your work is mowing down grass but they have a very limited life if you are going to be charging into a bramble patch or bushes of any kind.

I went looking for aftermarket blades because of getting annoyed with the factory blades. Factory blades tend to curve with use and if you hit a hard object the blades would bounce back into the head and become wedged. This would require stopping the trimmer and using a screwdriver to pry the blades out. So far these blades appear to stay rigid and last just as long.

I bought it for my husband, he like this product durability, and quality material. He use the wed eater at the farm, and believe me its a lot of weeds all spring and summer.

These replacement trimmer blades are dangerous. Trimming with these blades could have been life changing. The first set worked for a very short time ( 5 minutes at most), second set, while in use, one blade broke and hit me in the forehead, just above the bridge of my nose. Could have hit me in the eye and been a whole different situation. The whole bag, minus the 6 that I attempted to use, are now in the trash can. Waste of money and a health hazard. Do not buy.

I go through a lot of blades since the 1.2 acre area that I am cutting has a lot of hidden short stumps, rocks and brush.The string cutters just do not work.My trimmer is a straight shaft so I cannot use the metal cutters.A bag of 100 will last me a season so the price is very good.

They work great and they are a great deal. Wish I could have found this faster.
